The best place i'd say would be the North crater, the main background music and the boss battles here have superb music but you dont have that up there :( :choc:

Cosmo Canyon. One of the best music from this game. I also thought the boss music was pretty cool.

Personally I have to disagree with all those options presented.

My Favourite piece of game music is in the city of the Ancients.

Although maybe I've been listning to the OCRemix version too many times.

Darn FFVII for having such fantastic music.

Favorite theme would have to be Judgement Day, played during the final dungeon. OCRemix has a kickass grunge version of it called Seven Degrees of Judgement, and I've been rocking out to it for months.

Behind that, Aerith's theme and Tifa's theme, Great Warrior and Cosmo Canyon, Jenova Absolute, Turks, Those Chosen by the Planet...

I am kinda torn. I like the City of Ancients music a lot, but I think One Winged Angel and Cid's theme beat it. I always loved the part around Diamond Weapon where Cid's theme played the entire time on the world map, even in the Highwind.

The only sad thing is that I have a fully-orchestrated version of One Winged Angel, and the game version just sounds so horrible after listening to it instead. :cry:

i voted music in midgar! you got lotsa nice music there, especially aerith theme and when they ride the train and talk, looking down on the slums(relaxing music). AND NOT TO MENTION "ANXIOUS HEARTS" at the trailnstation! how can any of you vote anything else! damn thats a good song! :love: 100% love right there :love:

i think the best songs are "jugment day" and "holding my thoughts in my heart"(when they walk on the railway) i can play them all on piano :love:

I don't know where this played, but I liked Interrupted by Fireworks, (it's been a while, but I remember there being train tracks). Oh, and Tifa's Theme was also good.
