I got to the synthesis shop in Memoria recently and I noticed that you can synthesize the "Save the Queen" sword, but Beatrix is the only one who can use that sword. So what's the point of it being there if nobody can use it?
Also, where can I find both of the pumice pieces?
Also, what was the point of the hammer? I think I remember something like... if you have it in your inventory at the end of the game, you get an extra scene or something like that. You can also give it to cinna or something like that, right?

None. It's a collector's item. You could have Amarant throw it, but it's weak as a thrown weapon.

"Location
: Defeat Ark at Oeilvert (Disc 3)
: Found in the Chocograph 22, Outer Island 2 (Disc 3/4)
: Steal from Ozma (Disc 3/4)
: Synth at Hades Synthesis Shop (Disc 4)"

There are some minor changes to the ending, yes. No extra FMVs or anything, just some changes to the play scene

Nope.

Its best use is to synth Steiner's best armor, the Tin Armor. I would do that rather than hold onto it for the ending, unless you're really curious.

You are fricken awesome! You are extreamly helpful in this forum. I don't think I'm going to use Steiner for the final battle, the party I have right now will probobly beat Necron without too much trouble.

Steiner's usefulness wanes around mid-disc 3 I find. He can still do decent damage with his physical attacks, but it takes quite a few support abilities to compete with Freya's Dragon Crest, Quina's Limit Glove and Frog Drop, or Zidane's Thievery.

Especially against bosses like Ozma and Necron who can inflict Mini. Steiner is useless when in Mini status.

Addition:

About the Pumice Pieces, don't synth them into a Pumice. They'll be very useful should you fight Ozma because they absorb both Holy and Shadow, and you can win a Pumice by fighting Ozma anyway.

Is Ozma one of the optional bosses?

I never stole much in this game until the end, so Thievery was never very good, or at least never over 5000 damage.

I thought must of Zidane's "skills" were useless during the game. Steiner's early ones were too but they did improve after he gets Ragnarok and the Excalibur and his magic sword combos with Vivi were always affective.

Yes. And fairly hard from what I've heard. *shrug*

Lol is he the lvl. 99 boss? The walkthrus always talk about him but I never really bothered to fight him...

Too right about Zidane by the way Wiegrahf42, although his trance skills are truly superb (Grand Lethal) . Also, I always liked Flee :(
