How many of you are Auron/Rikku fans? I was reading a thread earlier and there are a lot of people who are against the couple. I just wanna know who likes them together.

Of course. Love can overcome the age barrier and the huge differences in their character.

But I hardly think there will be love between them....

i wouldn't do so for someone who would be like an uncle. and he looks almost twice his age. if they made love, that would be like a statutory rape crime... :tied:

With Auron's personality, I highly, highly doubt that.

Oh, and no offense, or anything, but I think the couple is just plain nasty. Way too much of an age gap, and no chemistry whatsoever. Blegh.

I believe Rikkus is 15 (as she's 17 in FFX-2) and Auron is maybe in his mid to late 30s.

*sigh* Can't blame a guy for trying, right? Age doesn't bother me in relationships that much, and I like the whole opposites attract thing. But I don't expect you or anyone else to see the way I look at their relationship, so I guess uh... thanks for your opinion.

Tidus is different; he's created in a similar way to the Aeons, but he's just a part of the overall 'dream' rather than the embodiment of a specific summoner's spirit.

Anyway.

The Aurikku concept is fundamentally wrong, 'cause he's 35 and she's 15. That don't be happenin'.

However, there are a few times when they interact (FFX is really bad at giving the secondary characters any meaningful interaction) and it's kinda cute because they tend to tease each other a bit. The Thunder Plains, for example.

Anyone who's read the Videogame Recaps account of FFX will probably know the other relevant scenes, too.

Speaking of Auron and Rikku... don't you think it's strange that Rikku gets an FMV cut-scene for when she removes her wetsuit, while Auron's final departure is so insignificant it's just a normal in-game cut scene?
