I think FF8's plainly explains exactly what the game is about. It just seems so. . . fulfilled.

Also, it's nice artistically. There's a radial balance to it, and the colors evoke warm emotion and love.

I voted for 4, not because it is the most beautiful (I actually think that one is X...), but because of the presence of Kain. At that time there was no logo as we know of it now, but the image on tha game box was the picture of Kain from which the logo has been made.
It's pretty strange, because if you think about it, it should have been Cecil...but I like it even more because of that.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Advent Children logo. It recalls the FFVII logo nicely, yet manages to keep its own identity.

FFIII and FFXIII don't even have real logos yet.

And my favorite is FFXII's. I like how they just threw convention to the wind and said, "You know what, let's make this one hypervertical for once. Yeah, and make it gigantic!"

There's no official FFIII logo (in the post-FFIV style) yet, either. What you saw was either a mock-up (there have been several) or the old NES-era logo.

Because the original FFIII logo stands out like a sore thumb among the modern logos, and because the whole point of a mock-up is to show what something in the future will probably look like. The upcoming FFIII logo is not going to look like the old one.

I think FFXII is my favorite out of all of them. Crystal Chronicles is a close second just because I absolutely love the font.

I rather like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance's logo, looking at them all objectively.

It's well known that the image in the logos are a piece of Amano's art, however, I've never seen the one in Final Fantasy Tactic's logo outside of the logo. Does it exist outside of the logo, and if so was it even done by Amano, or by Hiroshi Minagawa/Akihiko Yoshida?

I love the ffVIII logo 'cause of showing the two protagonists, also 'cause it's the last 'image' of the wonderful opening sequence.(->The FFVIII opening sequenz was one of the most beautiful clips I've ever seen!)
