Almost everything on Adult Swim. It's the only thing worth turning on that horrible TV for, in my opinion.

I watch some stuff on Comedy Central, but yeah, pretty much the same here.

Adult Swim

Is Adult Swim a program, or a channel. Wasnt it a late night channel that did anime ?

Shoeberto
08-30-2005, 10:47 PM
Adult Swim is a late night block on Cartoon Network that shows cartoons oriented towards the older crowd. It is considered its own channel, for ratings purposes, but it's still on CN. It shows both comedy cartoons and anime.

Yes, a 12 year run of a criticly acclaimed program that was the favorite nation sucks because you said it did.

Anyway, I dont watch tv much anymore, but when I do I really love the comedy nights of Adult Swim (Home Movies, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Tom Goes to the Mayor, and so on). I catch the reruns of M*A*S*H occasionally, but only the first three seasons for me.

Desperate Housewives (I'm ADDICTED)
Grey's Anatomy
FarScape
and anything on the History Channel.

Overview
"Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen" was the final episode of M*A*S*H. The episode aired on February 28, 1983 and was 2½ hours long. It was viewed by nearly 106 million Americans (77% of viewership that night) which established it as the most watched episode in television history, a record which stands as of 2005. [1] -Wikimedia

True that this comes from wikimedia, but Ive heard this figure on other sites before, and I could bring it up and a credible source if you wish. Because right now I'm on 56k and dont really have the patience to go through google finding it

You can have your opinions, but try not to classify them as facts

At the moment, there's very little I watch on a regular basis.

However, I do follow these:

Top Gear, sometimes, because it's entertaining and informative.

Gamer TV, whenever I don't have to miss it for weekly WMA class.

Outrageous Fortune, a brilliant local TV show that virtually none of you will ever see.

And lastly, the Futurama re-runs that've been showing recently. I only get to see three out of five each week, but it's great. I've been missing out:D

There are also M*A*S*H re-runs, but they're on extremely late and I've seen most of them at least twice already.

The only thing worth while watching when I was at home was Bionix on YTV and only then I watched the hour and a half of anime that played. Besides that I watch shows if I am doing something. I just can't stand SpongeBob. I will never forget BSSM, which I am currently downloading the episdoes that did not air in NA. *sighs and waits for it to finish*

EDIT: Las Vega and Desperate House Wives are both good shows too.

Stella and Densha Otoko, right now.

Black Mage
08-31-2005, 07:53 AM
Whew, someone said Stella, good.

As for programs that are currently airing, my favorites are Stella and Arrested Development. Both are nothing short of great. Also, "Extras" on British Television is pretty good, too.

All time favorite TV shows? I'm a rather large fan of Mr. Show, the Critic, Welcome to Eltingville (Only a pilot, but boy was it great), and MacGuyver. Oh, and Hunter, too.

I never said anywhere that popularity dictates whether a show is good or not. I simply said that you can have your opinions, but try not to classify them as facts

Everything wouldve been better if you just said "imo"

And I say the same thing Hawkeye does. If you dont like it, fine, but your opinions arent fact and presenting them as such is rude, especially when you did it just to mouth off to Hawkeye in the first place.

edit: And the popularity of Big Brother really isnt much compared to the popularity of M*A*S*H, so the point is rather moot.

The series is very different from the movie, the only thing they really have in common is setting and character names, even the character personalities are different. They're both widely agreed to be of excellent quality, even if the series changes a lot in the last few seasons (thanks to Alda's directing and such).
