If this has been asked, please forgive me. I scanned the pages of this thread though I didn't read in depth. Anyway, I was curious how you and your wife met? Was it through school, work, friends, etc.? Also, what was it that finally made you decide to pop the question of marriage?
It seems so simple of a question but you'd be surprised by some of the answers I've heard from acquaintances.

The drummer used to like about 1 mile from me. My friend lived next door. I used to see Travis all around Corona. In-N-Our Burger, especially.
But he moved to LA for that TV show.

I still don't really know. It changes pretty often. Right now, I just want to establish my life, get a career, get a house, get nice things.
Anyway, I was curious how you and your wife met? Was it through school, work, friends, etc.? Also, what was it that finally made you decide to pop the question of marriage?
Me and my wife went to the same Jr High. We even went to a dance together, believe it or not. But then we didn't see each other for 5 years, until after high school.
It is a weird story, but some ladies were honking their car horn at me while I was driving (on my way back from In-N-Out) and I was ignoring them cause I don't like that kinda thing. But I finally rolled by window down and they said they liked my hair. True. So I was like "Thanks...". Then I noticed Kim in the car, and she was like "I know that guy." They invited me back to their house to watch movie or something, I got Kim's number, and the rest is history. I was all emo/punk, she was all emo/punk. It was fun.
I just decided she was the one after 6 months. When you know, you know. She is one of a kind, very hot, and she treats me like a king, and I loved that :)

Very much so. I love Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, and A Clockwork Orange. Which is most of his movies (literally).
I feel that Eyes Wide Shut is very underrated. Although it does feel unfinished.
The only movie I saw and didn't care too much for was Dr. Strangelove. I need to give it a second chance.

How come you still leave EoFF up and running even though:
1. Your 2 years of bliss are apparently gone.
2. Most of your old forum friends are apparently gone.
3. (Most importantly) Running the forum is causing financial struggle for you and your wife?
Dont get me wrong, I really like this place, but I'm just curious.

Cid, in 10 years, can I take over EoFF and make it a virtual city of discussion? Where shops sell weapons and armor for you to defeat monsters outside the city that look like banned members? And outside the virtual city would be OTHER cities of discussion, like each city being another message board? And with vehicles to go across the world map, and monsters to defeat? And each city having a rank, and when you get a rank+, you get to add another aspect to it, like going from a port town to a city of transportation in general? Or going from a village to a town? Or from going to a Port to a port village, and from port village to port city, and from port city to port and airship city? And in the EoFF City, there would be five main buildings and when looked at from the sky looks like a big + sign? General Gaming Discussion, Final Fantasy Discussion, General Chat, and EoEO chat? With the Final Fantasy building being split into 3 different sections on the inside, the General Gaming Discussion building having a gaming area, and General Chat being split in-between General Chat and Lounge Chat on the inside?
