I just finished reading the bushido code, and it left a question on my mind. Does anybody in Japan still follow that method to the dot?
Surely someone here knows.

And I doubt it.

But when he goes to Japan everyone will have immense respect for him for his dedication to a totally irrelevant code of swordsmanship and immediately make him Emperor.

But then his father will think he's a bum for moving to japan and he'll have to kill himself for shaming his father.

More appropriately, shouldn't the question have been "Does anyone from Japan.."

You can doubt it if you please.

I don't find that particularily funny.

Yeah...I had a friend, and Bushido was his life. It was pretty ridiculous, he was a martial artist and even went to train as an assassian, but he doesn't even live in Japan. xD Whenever he lectures me though, I tend to disagree with everything he says, his advice is good, but it isn't the advice for me. It's a bunch of philosphy, but not all of it is beneficial (for me atleast). Anyway...I'm sure there are people out there that follow Bushido, if my friend can do it, I'm sure Japanese men can too. But, it -has- died off a lot.

This is what I was going to post. Or something similar to it, anyway.
