Invader Zim

Possibly one of the best cartoons ever. It's such a shame that it was cancelled. Nick seems to hate awesome shows. They only keep on Spongebob Squarepants because they make so much money off of it, because that's an awesome show too. That crappy "My Dad is a Rockstar" show is such an awful replacement for Invader Zim.

At least there are DVDs for it. I just rented the Volume 3 DVD, it was great. The X-Mas special on it was golden. xD

So, anyways, did you like Invader Zim when it was on Nick? Have you ever gotten any of the DVDs for it?

I loved that show the few times I got the chance to see it. Nickelodeon canceled it because it didn't appeal to their target audience of stupid little children. My favorite episode was the one in which Zim created a time portal and flung piggies into the past. :p I'd love to see the DVDs sometime.

Yeah, I watched all the episodes when they first aired, I have them all downloaded on CD now. It's been awhile since I watched them, but I was a big fan of that show. Definately one of the best cartoons America has ever produced.

One thing that's great about Invader Zim is that the characters are so good that they can do stories not just focusing on Zim or Gir, and they still rock. :)

They canceled Invader Zim about 1 or 2 years ago. They still air it on one of the like 20 Nickolodeon channels.

I downloaded all of the episodes and I have a framed Invader Zim poster hanging above my dining table (one of the bonuses of having your own apartment: rockin' decor). TheAbominatrix's roomate just got a tattoo of Gir riding a pig. xD

Yep, and my other roomie has a picture of Gir in his doggy suit on her stomach. I dont think it's any specific well-known picture or anything.

The two of them have all the Zim DVDs and we routinely pile on their bed and watch episodes and laugh till we pee.

Yeah Invader Zim was a crack up. I didnt get to see too much of it cause i can only stand a few programs on Nickelodeon and they only played at awkward times. I prefer cartoon network, the channel of the gods.

I love Invader Zim. I own all 3 DVDs. It's too hard to pick a greatest episode, but any of them that have a lot of Grrr in it are really good.

I never like angry beavers that much but the original Ren and Stimpy shows were great.

I loved Angry Beavers too, Invader Zim reminds me of it slightly because of the screaming (except the Beavers would be like "EEEEEEEEEEEE!") but I prefer Zim. xD
