Now I always wanted to play CC, but I had a lot of trouble with getting hold of it and then actually running it in non-blackandwhite mode. Now I tried installing few patches and wasted a couple of CDRs(maybe there are newer patches now, which actually work).

I tried the emulators and had a lot of trouble with them too, but in the end effect brought it to life! Here are few tips, that the ones of you who want to play it, might find useful:

Use ePSXe with ePSXeCutor
Get the right plugins(use google with "PSX plugins" as the searchterm)
Try all it out before giving up
If the sound plugin doesn't seem to work, like it didn't on my PC, check the setting of the emulator itself. Mine had sound turned off by deafult.
Often it is a good idea to make a ISO or BIN copy of the disc on your pc. Emulating right from the cdrom didn't by me. Try avoiding CloneCD files, i.e. .CCD, and Nero files, i.e. .NRG. Those are normally not supported. (Nero allows writing ISO and BIN files too)
Use the screenshot below for your refenrence.

Very cool, I went through booting agmes on my PS2 to play imports. Which costed money :( And I had to buy the game.
I might try that with further games that I need.....

I did buy the game, I just played it on PC. Actually, just as we talk about it, I tried out one of the patches for it(from a different site) and voila! it works. Hmm... I wish I knew about that stuff before I've beaten Parasite Eve in blackandwhite:)

Not everybody got a PS2. And I tested this patch (http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_patches_c.shtml). Its pretty good and it works fine on PAL systems.
