this is my second day and i have already had homework and my law class was cancelled. how is it possible that none of the people from my high school got put in my class. still ive met some cool people.

the point is has anyone else started or starting a new school/college if so what do you think it will be like?

Today's my first day of classes, actually. History 106 and Chem 115...but I'm dropping Chem, so I can pick up a math class and another two or three credits, hopefully. One of my Chem classes today is four and a half hours long.

Anyway. I'm gonna go scrounge for some food. Good luck.

I've gotten into a university, but I'm not going there until 2006 or 2007. Going to the military first.

I'm in my sophomore year, 3rd week. I've yet to see any of my highschool friends either. Doesn't matter though. A lot of people I knew going into college hadn't exactly matured. And living with a few in the dorms it's evident those guys aren't ready for college either. They flee home to mommy every weekend.

I FINALLY get to go back in January. At least that's the way it looks. If I end up not going back in January, I will probably die. Serious.

I'm starting my Junior year in a few weeks. I'm going to buckle down and try to finish in six quarters, so I can be done with uni... for now.

I'm back at school tomorrow, its my final year and I only have about 7 months left. After 4 years of not paying attention and screwing around I actually have realised I need to get my head down and work if I want to pass. Then if I get the grades I need, I'll be going to college.

LOL

I'm in college, in Cali. My first day of classes isn't 'til the 8th though, so I'm currently just going through all the meetings and crap they tell us to go to, and goofing off on the fast LAN connection. :D

I recently started going to college these past few weeks. Im a shy person but there are some really nice people but haven't really found any like.."friends" to kick it with at my breaks..so Im still kind of a loner in that department. Never was like that back in High school, always had someoen to wonder around with. Lots of freedom, it's just a JC (not a university, junior college) so I still ive at home and Im not 18 yet..so the fun has yet to uh..begin not begun but yeah.

Where at in cali DMKA?

I have Math, English writing, Drawing, and uh..oh yeah Computer familiarization which is an easy ass class that's boring.

I'm on a 2 year course, and I just went back today.

Because it's the 2nd year we have to pick 5 units to do from a list.

I picked 3 Photography units, and 2 Multimedia units including Website Design. Can't wait to get started.

I'm still doing Community College so I can finish my credits and transfer to a 4-year university. I'm taking Journalism, Statistics, and Geology. I have 3 Science credits I need to get out of the way, plus being an editor is going to require me to take Journalism for the rest of the year. That leaves me one free spot to get the rest of my credits, meaning that I'll probably end up having to take four classes at some point.

First year at Uni and this is my 2nd semester now, and I am definitely liking it way better than high school. I've met a lot of nice people but the assignments are just sooo stressful, heh.

So much schooling all you Americans do! You finish highschool then go to college and then go to uni?

Sasquatch

School is thirteen years. Kindergarten, then first grade through twelfth grade. That's prettymuch required, and we get out when we're 17 or 18. College IS "Uni". Some of us go to college, usually for four years. Some jobs -- medicine, law, stuff like that -- require even more school, but most don't. So most people are out of school when they're 22.
