This thread's a space for everyone to pat themselves on the back and let everyone know of something they've done recently that they are proud of. I ran my second 10k this morning and felt really good at the end. So puff your chest out, pat yourself on the back and let us know what you're kicking ass in lately.

I'm taking strides in my piano lessons. I went from learning the Symphony 9 which is a really simple piano song to learning about half of Greensleeves, which isn't amazing, but considering I've only been taking lessons for about a month... yay. :D

I'm writing an article for a photography student I met yesterday about a tornado that hit a local town as a result of Katrina, and it's going in some contest.

Last Friday I worked two hours at a Red Cross Katrina drive, which made me feel pretty good.

Also, it appears that I'm the only one completely enthusiastic about <i>everything</i> in my CIS class.

Donated blood three or four times during blood drives at school throughout my junior and senior years. I signed up for a drive at the hospital recently but was pretty sick when it happened, so I couldn't make it. I'll probably go to the next one they have to compensate. It's just sort of a "Why not?" thing.

Besides that, I'm struggling. No really, I got nothin' recently.

There's this person ... hmm... Her life is sorta tearing her down. She has two jobs, school, a social life, and family life to tend to and she's trying to spend time with everyone and make everyone happy. She has this really chipper attitude but she's killing herself over exhaustion and barely finding time to even eat. So I took it upon myself to watch out for her. I seem to be the only friend she has that's not guilting her into hanging out. I seem to be the only one offering an ear, advice, and support. I help her keep her finances afloat and food in her stomach. And I harp at her to get her ass to bed at a decent hour. I'm probably quite annoying sometimes. But I feel that I'm (hopefully) being a good thing in her life.

I'm handling 5 classes, 1 lab, 2 jobs, 1 DJ show, 1 video production, 1 clinic project, pretty damn well while cutting back my drinking and smoking, playing tennis 2-3 times a week, tutoring through Tau Beta Pi, and still having some time to play the piano, attend Decemberists and Hieroglyphics concerts, take care of my parents, and relax and have fun with my good friends.

It's rather gushing with adulation for myself, and I apologize for that, but I'm a confident guy, so I can't help but shout out in joy sometimes (although never out loud, I like to stay modest :p). Besides, someone once told me it's not called bragging if you really have what it takes to back it up, and I really believe I do.

Plus, if I do this all at once, then I don't have to post in this thread again. :p

All you guys have spectacular things you've done recently, and I'm glad you all are able to recognize good things you've done in spite of society's expectation for you all to turn into raging emo freaks. Especially Gooey sleeping in History class; man, that is really special. :p

I beat Metroid: Zero Mission on Hard difficulty with pure accumulated bathroom time. I've already patted myself on the back for it quite a bit, but since this thread's here, you know.

My Advent Children review got read by 1000+ people within its first 24 hours online or at least so I've been told. And I've been told it's a very good report. It seems like even some Japanese fans tried to translate it (I'm not sure of that though).

My thesis supervisor told me just today there is not much to change or correct and she complimented me. She said she gets lost every now and then because it's like some kind of videogame saga (O__o').

Since you did so good on your math test what percent is that? Without a calculator. :p

Rengori

How far should I round?

96%
95.8%
95.77%
95.769%
95.7692%
95.76923%
95.76<u>9230</u>%

It starts to repeat and as far as I know, there's no VB code that would make for a sufficent overhead bar thingy.

95.76<span style="text-decoration:overline;">9230</span>%

Granted, it's not a "VB code", but whatever works.

I did well on my Honors English Summer Reading Project. We had to choose an author from a list of, like, five, then read a specific book by them, another book from the list by them, then research the authors life and finally write a 1200-1500 word critical analysis paper on how his life affected his writing. Of course, being the smart guy I am, I waited until the end of July to start reading the books. :sweatdrop I was freaking sure I did terrible, but I got a solid B (pretty good considering the overall scores). :D

Every one (especially fallen_angel LOVES my cooking. My cookies are eaten in seconds, and my pasta bake normally lasts about five minuets.
