I read some stuff over the net and seems like FFX-3 will probly be made, Of course Rikku Story other say they want Braska story of his summoning days. But I would not mind of them making a FFX-3 others are all like "Oh Help Me, and "NOOOO!!!!"

It might be made. It would depend on how much money both X and X-2 made, and if they thought that they could make X-3 more appealing to most fans than X-2 (assuming X-2 didn't live up to expectations). A prequel of Braska, Jecht, and Auron in their summoning trip would be nice, and all the Auron fans would like it, while they might not have liked that he didn't really show up in X-2. I wouldn't rule anything out yet. Square Enix is willing to make sequels, as evidenced by the new FFVII and KH games. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to make a sequel or prequel to X/X-2. If they think there is money there, they will.

There were some preliminary ideas for X-3, but they got officially abandoned a couple of years ago.

A prequel about the AGT (that's Auron, Braska and Jecht, with a bonus cookie for anyone who gets what AGT is) would be pretty cool... but again, this was ruled out because we're told how their story goes, by watching the spheres in FFX.

Hey.. FF X-2 Wasn't what anyone expected right from the trailers... To when people beat the game. Sqaresoft can't denie that they could make a few more million dollars on this project. For all anyone know FF X-3 could be a good game. X-2 would've been fine if they added more detail to the story. And tried to keep it seriouse. If FF X-3 had a little more of whatever X had in it, it could sell millions. Make millions. Theres soo many options for a sequel. Look final fantasys could have anything in them. It could be about anything thats why everyone strives for final fantasys. Put it this way theres soo many options for ideas on final fantasys. For example,

- It could be about 6 months later of X-2 There could be an excavation and the Al- bhed could be the head of that they could come across artifacts telling us about a new language. It could do with a race that visted earth soo many years ago and they're unraveling a mystery to a race soo very technologicly advanced. They're even could be elections for a new world leader.
- A new story could take place 15 years later Yuna and Tidus could have children this could be the next generation. Can't you believe where this is going. Unraveling mystery 15 year old kids getting into trouble or being sucked into some sort of mystery. They're could be a new evil just awaking.
- They're could be another and the opening FMV could be Yuna walking down the Ilsle to her binding with Tidus. Someone could Crash the wedding who could it be some of the most important leaders are going to be at this wedding people don't you see how this could work. Who could be these wedding crashers could they onnly be messengers for the greater evil this could be a really cool game. Just think people.

Anyways *Clears Throat* That concludes my little speech. Posabillties are endless people This is Final Fantasy This is Sqaure enix almost all they're games have gone to the top within the first day! Well just think.

I think that a Prequal about Braska would be cool, but(you knew i was goina say that :D ) I say that they should make remakes of a few games before they make new ones like a FF1 with ps2 graphics n stuff or something like that kinda like what Capcom did with Resident Evil 1, they turned it from a square bit 1990's game to a Very good graphic awesome game for Gamecube.

Even though i liked FFX i would not want to see a 3rd. FFX-2 was so very very bad, that i almost didnt have the will to finish playin it. They should have left the series at FFX or made an FFX-2 that lived up to the first game (and also gotten a different voice actor for Yuna because the one they used was so bad)

In FFX-2 was the same voice actress for Yuna but she got better cause When Yuna was a Summoner she was not spose to goof off and all cause she had to destor Sin, but in FFX-2 Yuna can do whatever now but that show why she act like Tidus sometimes and Rikku.

But YRP are really cool Characters Squre Enix ever made.
I enjoy FFX-2, if only I can save up and buy a Japanese PS2 and play FFX-2 Interantional+ Last Mission.

Oh my god, I played X-2 for like twenty minutes and almost threw up. It was one of the most atrocious things I've ever seen, and probably the worst game I've ever played. The ONLY good thing about it was Rikku's skimpy outfit.

If they actually believed everyone who made a fuss about "omg every game should be like ______" or "omg everyone thinks _____ is crap!", then we'd all be playing 2D remakes of FFI, with no new added features or FMVs, yet somehow made innovative and new without changing the formula at all. No matter what they decide to do, people are going to whine because they don't like it.
Personally, I think it's better that they try new ideas than simply treat us like imbeciles by spewing out identical games with no new ideas.

X-2 is understandably not everyone's kettle of fish. The plot is far more complex than most critics realise, since it takes time and effort to uncover it, due to its fragmented and non-linear nature. The game is basically a coda - an add-on to FFX, so of course it isn't a whole new adventure with a whole new cast and new world. I'm not sure what people expected from a direct sequel to an existent game, but I'd personally have been more disappointed if they'd simply given us "more of the same".

Each of the game's "departures" makes a fair amount of sense, when examined in context:

A fixed party of three playable characters - the previous game was a 'journey' story, with new members acquired along the way. Since X-2 dealt with an alread-established cast, inventing all-new playable characters would've just muddied the story. The way it was done, the majority of the cast were familiar, with a few new additions whose back-stories wove in well with the main flow. Trying to find excuses to bring in a half-dozen new playable characters would've been extremely contrived, and also extremely boring to players who experienced exactly that in FFX.

The "girly" style - with three young women as lead characters, I really don't know what people expected. Not everyone can behave like Solid Snake; the way the X-2 women acted was fitting with their characters. I'd rather have a cast that's believable yet occasionally irritating (e.g. Tidus, Rikku in X-2) than a bunch of perfectly heroic, utterly flawless and absurdly unrealistic constructs.

Starting with the airship - makes sense, really. Most of the world was explored in the previous game, so making the player trudge through every city in order again would've been tiresome in the extreme. "Oh wow! A new city! One that I saw last month while playing FFX - I'm totally excited..."

Non-linear, mission-based story - again, it helps to distinguish the game from its predecessor. It's also a natural side-effect of having an airship available from the very beginning. Approximately three billion nerds have wasted a total of 400,000 years by moaning on the internet about how FFX was too linear, so X-2 may have helped to placate them. Giving the player freedom to do whatever, whenever made the multiple endings possible, and meant action-oriented players could skip dull side-quests while gamers craving a deeper, more thorough experience could take the time to explore everything.

We can't know that, if X-3 were made, that it would be terrible just becaused X-2 sucked. What I'd like is a prequal where you play the Crusaders, such as Luzzu. Or, another idea would be to play as a summoner and his guardian's long before Braska or Yuna. Those seem like they'd be interesting.

I must say that it would be great if there is a FFX-3 on it's way, i think I read that it would be on Playstation 2 if it does come out. I think that it would be a great idea to maybe have a story that takes part way before FFX, like before Tidus ended up in spira, but it would also be nice to see what happens after FFX-2!
