The Special Edition Trailer of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has been found and is now being distributed online. The release decision from the anonymous source has apparently been due to Square-Enix's delays in releasing the movie in a timely and adequate matter.

Well wat type of internet service are you using? cause if you have dial up its gonna take that long. Shoden most likely has DSL or Cable thats why its so fast. And if you do have DSL or cable then im befuddled :confused:

i was using the bittorrent software, don't know much about torrent files

i got DSL too

Yeah, no doubt it was probably a promo release and someone working retail ripped it. But there will probably be a fan sub within a week. I'm gonna keep checking, even though I've already paid for it in full :rolleyes2

I can't get it to work in WMP.

That is the beginning of your downfall. Media Player is just evil, use Winamp 2x or 5x. But for anything other than a standard codec (AVI, MPEG, WMV) I recommend Zoom Player (http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml). It supports everything, and even plays QT and Real formats.


EDIT: English Subs have been released for the movie now. I don't know if I'll get yelled at, but both the movie and the subs are on mininova.orgs

EDIT #2: Alright, now that I have both, will someone be kind enough to enlighten me on how to add the subtitles? My Japanese is far from perfect.

I still need help adding subs, but just to piss you all off more... the release was pushed back again today until January 3rd. When I went to Gamestop today (yeah, I'm back in America now. The foreign exchange thing was withdrawn after Katrina. Who knows?) to tell them the entire movie was leaked, they said it got pushed back again.

Which is really odd to me. This trailer was never released to the public, making it just as illegal to download as the movie. Not to mention the fact that the trailer was filmed on someone's camcorder in the Venice theater with poor quality, whereas the movie stripped in all it's beauty right off the DVD. If you are going to steal it, might as well steal the whole thing.
