At what age did you find out Santa Claus wasn't real? Were you sad? Were you relieved? I mean, isn't trespassing illegal?
Or were you one of the bad asses that didn't believe in all 'that stuff'? :rolleyes2

I dont' remember really believing in santa:O

I think it was because my mom and my sister would hole themselves up in my parents' bedroom and come out with wrapped gifts.

I did wonder about the easter bunny though.

I never believed in Santa Claus entirely, I always thought there was something fishy about it...Especially when I asked for a "Donkey Kong Country" cartridge and he gave me a "The Jetsons" game. If Santa was stupid enough to do that, he wouldn't be worthy enough to exist. :D

My friend told me in the third grade. I denied him up and down until we both dropped the issue and I just sort of came into disbelief on my own.

I've never believed in Santa Claus my parents taught us from the begining that he wasn't real. My brother was one of those mean kids who would run around telling other kids that Santa wasn't real and making them cry.

I don't think I ever believed in him.

Kinda hard to believe in Santa when my parents would go buy christmas presents then wrap them.

I sort of knew from friends when I was like 9, but didn't get told until I was like 11 *dies* :(

I never actually got told. I kind of just... knew.
It was funny to watch them attempt it though.

At any rate, if he isn't, then who was that sexy talented guy that was in my house Xmas eve? ^_^

I figured it out when I realised Santa wouldn't shop at Woolworths (price sticker left on) because he has a workshop.

But I think I always kind of knew he wasn't real.

I was stoked when I thought I'd outsmarted my folks

My parents never told me the whole Santa Clause thing, so I never really believed in it.

The day i made a fort of pillows where noone could see me and watched my tree for santa, waiting to wage war or the time I helped out the presents under the tree.

Has any1 heard the excuse "Me and santa use the same wrapping paper" or "Santa needed help rapping" orSAnta ran out of gift wrap"?

Well I never really had a harsh transition. My parents would act excited to sort of hype me up about Santa coming. I'd set out a coke and some cookies and I'd wake up the next morning to see the cookies half eaten and the coke bottle empty. Then my friends told me Santa wasn't real and I just sort of accepted it. No reason to cry over. I didn't like to cry when I was little because I accepted that as a sign of weakness. So yeah, why cry over a guy that isn't real but you can still get the toys and stuff? That's how I thought when I was little.

Santa or not, I was still getting the toys. That's all that mattered. ;D

I still believe he's real.. >_>
<_<... jk. D:

At what age did you find out Santa Claus wasn't real?

Now :(

No really I just grew out of it and realised. And I wondered how a fat guy called Santa could go into over a million houses in one night.

I told my parents what I thought, and they still say that he's real.
I still have my doubts though.

....Santa Claus IS REAL!!! I did something one night, and it was a test...and he passed it! He is real. I'm not going to tell anyone what the test is though.

What intrigues me is how some kids say they've seen the dude. Once my cousin swore blind that he came into the room, and that she saw him.

Ohhhhhh dear.

I never believed in Santa Claus entirely, I always thought there was something fishy about it...Especially when I asked for a "Donkey Kong Country" cartridge FFIX and he gave me a "The Jetsons" game Mario Kart 64, despite the fact I didn't own an N64 at the time. If Santa was stupid enough to do that, he wouldn't be worthy enough to exist. :D
