Speaking, of course, about clam chowder.

Who likes it?

Corn Chowder without the clams, yes. Clam chowder. Never. Yuk. The smell alone almost makes me leave the room.

I love clam chowder. When I go to a restaurant, it's usually either that, or fish and chips. When you can get good clam chowder......awesome. Some people don't know how to do it right, though.

Yay for the Boston way for saying Chowder.

I've never had it before. I doubt I'd like the Chowder, and since I think seafood is gross and cruel sometimes (poor Lobsters), I wouldn't like the Clam part.

I don't like seafood, so I don't think I'd like clam chowder. But it's one of my friend's favorites.

You have posted three times now, you even added the question to your own poll, and yet you still haven't explained what Clam Chowder is. Pretty poor forum going, if you ask me. >;o

This does not explain the contents of the dish, or what Chowder is. Though it does look quite tasty.

Basically, it's a creamy kind of soup, along the lines of cream of mushroom or something like that. Except better.

There's different variations, as some recipes include more potato than others, but the common thread, obviously, is clams. You can throw a little bit of chopped bacon in there, make it nice... it's delicious!

So far, it sounds good. Never had a clam, though, so if they're gack it could ruin everything. But I would definitely try it if I could get some.

Clam is a little different because it's a little chewier, but it's not like they have gigantic chunks of it like beef in beef stew. The soup is really what makes the whole thing work.

Seafood is generally a bad idea. At least, that's what I think.

I love me some clam chowder. I'll eat pretty much anything that comes form the ocean.

Chowder is the sound I make when I spew up and I don't even want to think about what the clam part might mean.

Heaven forbid someone grabs the [dictionary] (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=chowder).

Clam chowder is good. Unless you're going to die from eating it (allergies to shellfish/seafood), I suggest at least trying it.
