Amazing movie. One of the best to have ever come out of South Korea.

I couldn't watch the scene with the teeth though, that was just too much for me. But it's an incredibly stylish film, expertly made.

I really wish more people would watch this movie, it deserves far more recognition here in the States than it's recieved. If you're a Quentin Tarantino fan, I'm almost positive that you'll love this movie.

Good movie, though the scenes of sexual nature disturbed me. Not when they happened, but when you found out the details of them. I was freaking out at the end. Twisted .

Yes, that was rather the point though.

And of course, it's even more potent when you realize Won-Jin didn't actually lock Oh-Dae Su up (Which to most of us would be pretty much as hellish as existence gets) for any particular reason, he simply needed to do it in order to ensure his actual plan came around. Although the fact Oh-Dae Su didn't get his rocks off ONCE during that time is obviously a bonus for the plan. (Incidentally, might that have been to do with the hypnotism and drugging? I've not looked for that, though I will next time I watch.)

Yeah, I know. Like I said, good movie, though a little fucked up.

Description: Oh Dae-su is an ordinary Seoul businessman with a wife and little daughter who, after a drunken night on the town, is abducted and locked up in a strange, private prison. No one will tell him why he's there and who his jailer is and his fury builds to a single-minded focus of revenge. 15 years later, he is unexpectedly freed, given a new suit, a cell-phone and 5 days to discover the mysterious enemy who had him imprisoned. Seeking vengeance on all those involved, he soon finds that his enemy's tortures are just beginning.

It's a wild movie, and it won the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes film festival a few years ago. I definitey recommend you watch it.
