The Mega Millions lottery jackpot here in California is 250 million dollars. 250 million dollars. Needless to say, I went out and bought some lottery tickets earlier.

When was the last time you spent money on a lottery? And when was the last time you actually won something? If you won $250 million, what would do with it?

I've never spent money on the lottery. If I had 250 million dollars I would not know what to do with it.

I've never bought a lottery ticket before. Everytime it gets really big I think that I should buy one, but then I never get around to it. It's proably just as well, I would never win.

I would set it up in payments over the next 25 years. each payment would be divided into several different investments.

First thing I'd set up would be a trust fund for me daughter. Second thing would be several apartment complexes in nearby urban areas. Third thing would be land and building materials to construct a home and stables for my family. Fourth thing would be about half a dozen head of horses.

The rest of the money would be put into intrest bearing investments paying dividends monthly to supplement my income since I'll keep working so that I won't get bored.

Then I'd bring my family over here and set my Dad up with a Forge and my Mom with some kinda sales business. Everybody except my younger brother in law. He can keep workin in Alaska. cuz he'll be a bum otherwise. and a mooch.

I've come to the conclusion that I will never win the lottery, although when I turn 16 I will still play it.

If I won 250 million then I'd give a lot of it to charity, buy my relatives and friends houses and invest the rest for my own house and to live off for the rest of my life and never have to work again.

I would buy every llama on the planet. Then I'd buy Spain and turn it into an enormous llama ranch. And Portugal, for the alpacas.

I usually buy a powerball ticket once it hits 100 million.

Last weekend my parents were traveling and my mom got a scratchee at the gas station and won $100.

The biggest jackpots are always the most disappointing. There is so much money people all think, oh why not enter, even though they never usually do. More players = more chance of a winner, more winners equals less money for each.

As weird as it sounds if I won $2.5 million because another 100 people won I would be incredibly put out. Come on, on the night you'd be like oh I just won $250 million. And then you go to claim it and it is a 100th of that amount.

That's okay. $2.5 million is still enough for me. :p

I bought a Mega Millions ticket a few years back when it was like $150 million or something. Of course I didn't win. My friend also bought one and won $5 for getting the mega ball correct. I told him he should never play the lottery again and quit while he was ahead.

I'd buy a small central American republic, and name it 'Cheland' and turn it into a huge celebration of Che Guevara. Or maybe just buy 600,000 tons of string cheese. Or a huge statue fo Solid Snake. 5000 metres tall! Cool! A three mile Snake staue.

Is a semi-colon the right punctuation?

Stick with periods to break up seperate thoughts. You can never go wrong with periods.

EDIT: Ironically enough, I could've use a semi-colon there. :)

commas are fine for demarking answers in a list so long as none of the individual answers contain contain a comma.
