What boss you find hardest?

What boss you think is hardest? Besides WEAPONs and final bosses.

I would say my answer is Demon gate. I usually get KO'd at least once.

Demon's Gate probably, though it seems so easy now...I remember the first time I fought it dying like a billion times though. o_O

either one winged angel or one of the ones thats hard for the point of the game like demon gate(who i found easy but harder than others.) i can beat one winged angel without KoTR and ultima weapon and that makes it quite hard. i suppose i wouldve found proud cloud hard if i wasnt at level 75 with 8000+ HP at the time but i got that high when i got stuck for 2.5 years on the bit where you have to find key of the ancients.

That thing is a bastard, but then I realised it's because when any of your characters go into the fight with Limit Breaks fully charged it used Lapis Laser, which does about 1500 damage to each memeber. So it did it three times in a row without stopping and wasted my team first time. :{ But once you go in without limit breaks and mighty guard/bolt 3/all it, it's a piece of piss.

Other than that, it used to be Lost Number, but now I level up in preparation for it and kick it's arse.

The bosses arnt really hard provided u no wot to do. I found demon gate hard first because i dint no that all you had to do was use attack n not magic. i found shizo hard because i dint no fire healed one n ice th otha. Lost number is hard but only if u do it th first time u reach nibelheim. carry armor is a real bitch (in my last playthru of ff7, it was the only thing that caused the game over screen to appear. DAMMIT!!!) i suppose the final battles r hard but we'r ot including them r we?

Besides the WEAPONS, I'm not sure that any of the bosses were really difficult. Maybe Midgar Zolom early in the game...

Um, that bastard right before the sub. It was that boss that inspired me to get KOTR. KOTR was the only reason I won.

For me it was Lost Number, not because it was all that hard but because it was relatively hard when compared to my character's levels.
Demon Gate wasn't that impossible for me. I beat him at first try. Demon Wall in FF IV, now THAT was a challenge.

I think that Godo was pretty hard, with only yuffie and he casts cure2 (3?). But i was only level thirty. Other than that, i did read the question but i must say that emerald weapon is harder than the ruby, so much health and damage is not good for poor old cid

Anyways, I used to have heaps of trouble with Demon Gate.

Demon's gate was easy. Death Gigas and just keep healing your party, simple. Now Carry Armour, he was a tough customer

Like I said, Carry Armour is only tough if you go into the fight with any characters on Limit Break, 'cause he opens up with Lapis Laser once, twice or thrice in a row depending on how many have limits. If you don't, then he does nothing, and Bolt 3/Trine/Ramuh piss on him.

And with the right materia setup Godo is easy as pie.

you do 0 damage to the mean monster until you beat the claws :mad2:
