The thing is, is that I see a topic which I would love to post in, but then everyone else has said my opinion much better then I actually could and I sound redundent and state the obvious.


Though my finest hour on this forum still has to be that PETA-bashing can of worms (spanned 8 pages) that I opened last spring.

Sure.

My forum pet peeves are mostly grammatical. Mostly just overuse of ellipsi and horribly incorrect apostrophe usage. Nothing too bad, just little things that stand out to me.

People who think they have to make fancy formatting, such as tiny illegible fonts and brashly colored tables.

Newbie talk as a whole is my pet peeve. Purposely using bad grammar is on a whole different level than common mistakes. At least you don't need a translator for simple grammatical mistakes. xD

I will agree with Wiegrahf42 though. That has driven me nuts on occassion. What's worse is when you make a post that you put a lot of thought in to and then the thread dies right after your post. :p

Grammatical and spelling errors irritate me. People who ask obvious or stupid questions that can be easily answered by using the site annoy me as well. I AlSo hAtE It wHeN PeOpLe tYpE LiKe tHiS, though it does not happen often here at EoFF.

But, mainly grammar and spelling are the culprits.

Wow, I must piss a lot of people off unintentionally with my horrid spelling, and lack of traditional grammer. I like saying things as they come out, worring about semantics is a form of censorship! :D

Also what annoys me are the posts that.read.like.this.with.no.friggin.spaces!!!.

and that nobody capitalizes the first word of every sentence. that makes me mad :mad2:

So yeah, generally gramatical stuff. Not enough to be a English major, but stuff like that

Let's see... I hate it when people type in really small fonts, colors that almost match the background, colored borders around posts, terrible grammar, misuse of apostrophes, and posts that look like this:

Threads that reappear every three or four months, such as 'favourite food' threads, or threads created specifically created to complain about people's grammar. It's not that these are bad topics, nor am I blaming the people that start them. It's just a small, unavoidable thing that really irritates me about forum life.
