Many people play through FFVII several tmes before seeing the real story. See... here is how iut works. Aeris is trying to SUMMON meteor herself and she is just lying about black materia doing it. Only she can hear the ancients so how would Cloud know the difference? REally White materia summons meteor and black meteor stops it. Sephiroth realizes this and tries to stop her. While she is "Praying to the planet" as she puts it she is really meditating and summoning meteor. Sephiroth tries to kill her before it is to late but he fails. Cloud is all pissed and still thinks Sephiroth is just Evil. However Clous is a dumbass and decides to go and kill Sephiroth who is the good guy (Who is still trying to get black meteria to work for him but never really manages because cloud shows up and kills him.) THe stuff that stop meteor is just snot... Snot from the planet. The Ancients were using Aeris to kill off the Humans so they could rule again.

If you don't figure this out by your 5th time playing then you are slow...

Acually this is just something me and my other nerdy friend was talking about... But it is possible right? Sephiroth is always calling Cloud Ignorant And this makes him pretty ignorant to assist some chick in destroying the world... :D

But Sephiroth was a virgin, the type that has never seen porn and has never gained knowledge of the birds and the bees, even though he tried to gain the knowledge of the ancients and the planets. all he was trying to do was bang aeris. he thought his sword was his weewee, and he didn't kno where he was supposed to put it so he just kinda rammed it in Aeris' back. Meteor had nothing to do with the story line, it was just a random meteor that happened to be coming towards earth. but that's not how it really happened..

HOW IT REALLY HAPPENED:
tifa's boobs are so big that she has materia slots in them. she had a Cheese WEAPON summon that nobody knew of, as well as meteor materia. she got super hungry, and decided that she wanted to eat some cheese toast. all she needed was a Bread WEAPON materia. so lets go over the steps after this:
1) summon meteor, kill aeris because it's one less stomach to feed. and she sucks.
2) meteor danger released WEAPONS from the planet.
3) cloud heard a rumor that Bread WEAPON could be found in a crater up north.
4) They found Sephiroth got there first, nibbeling on the Bread WEAPON
5) Angry and hungry, Cloud's gang decided to go hunger rage on Sephy and annihalated him. all of this over food.
6) Acquired the Bread WEAPON summon materia after destroying Bread WEAPON.
7) Summoned Bread and Cheese WEAPONS unto meteor, nice and toasty, yeah?
8) everybody had a nice meal, but they forgot to take back meteor so Aeris was all like "aw my gosh i guess i gotta save the planet now... pfft." let holy come along and save the planet.

9) Nanaki was actually an invasive species, and after hojo's expirement, became way more furious, ferocious, vicious, and smarter than humans. ate cloud and co. had some kids. destroyed midgar after 500 years. yep.

Actually it was a story about how the WEAPONs had been imprisoned and locked away by the cruel ruthless ancients, Sephiros wanted to help them and set them free but Aeris wanted the WEAPONS to suffer, suffer until the end of time.

Seffi summoned metoer as a way of just breaking the WEAPONS out of of their prison and when the WEAPONs went on the rampage was just because Humans looked just like their unjust imprisoners... they didn't know the difference. cos they're metal and, ya know, dumb.

The truth is that Cloud got really tired of how freaking annoying Aeris was, so he hired Sephiroth to kill her during her daily pray to be more of a bitch then she was the day before. In exchange, he gave Sephiroth the Black Materia, which creates a giant disco ball in the sky so that he could have the world's biggest disco party. After having Aeris killed and pretending to care, Cloud realized how big this party was going to be, and also realized he wasn't invited. This pissed him off. So he gathered his band of leftover rejects and set out to kill Sephiroth before his party started. Along the way, he killed all of Sephiroth's party guests: The Weapons, Shinra, Jenova,Bugenhaden (Poisoned I tell you!), and just about everyone else. They then had a disco battle with Sephiroth in his psycodelic 70s pad in North Crater. Cloud used his trademark move, The Omnislash (Don't ask where he got the name), and defeated Sephiroth in one move. This caused the disco ball to collapse and come down on Midgar. Sephiroth used what was left of his marijuana to get himself high enough to make all those green lights he see's real, thus saving the world. The End.

okay am only saying this ones when you see sephiroth kill some of the black cape things about 5 mins after that you met up with rufues but you don't fight him, cloud with fly up and say something about being summoned and gives sephiroth (the real one who is some kind of water thing) the black materia now the one you see killing the black capes things that is the clone and the one who is in the water this is the real sephiroth

yknow, im pretty sure the story goes that the pull of gravity from tifa's gicantic boobs pulled a passing meteor from its orbit to the ground. she killed aries because aries was the only one who would kill her because the rest of the team was sexually atracted to her. and she was jelous because cloud had a thing for her. cloud gets pissed off, but because he woulnt kill tifa he decides to kill sephiroth instead. And the final fight is abord sephiroths space ship. (because sephiroth is really an allien.) and no one really dies in the fight because right before cloud kills sephiroth he hits the eject button. as for the planet stopping meteo i must agree with the marijuana theory.

With a gameshark, you can type a code to make Sephiroth your main character instead of Cloud, and Cloud will then take Sephiroths position.

at the begining aeris tries to sell cloud some flowers, these flowers have drugs in them (she wanted cloud to be drugged for that night O.o)
these drugs were taken from seffy, and he get mad. seffy, being the pot he is, get mad.
he took the black materia and went to his crack house, he traded the black materia for crack and the dealer used the black materia. he was mad because the crack was mixed with other drugs. he was trying to stop the dealer, but he found out that the dealer was cloud. CLOUD GOT ON HIS CRYSTAL CHOCOBO (not in the game, they edited it out for secret purposes :eek: ) AND RODE AWAY. seffy got to him and fought cloud for more crack the move omnislash was actually named "crack whroes unite" seffy was defeated, aeris died, and tifa's boobs grew 4 cups that day (.) (.), it was a good day for man kind.

5)barret took fatass materia to stop tifa becos barret is scared that cloud will fall in love with tifa
6)vincent took the gun and chaos limit break from lucrecia but later found the new materia Lucrecia Boob Materia to stop all of them from this stupid materia fight
7)cait sith took the oversized moogle as a fake materia who later loses it in advent children.
8)cid highwind took shinra no. 26 to blow up everyone but got slashed by sephiroth who later becomes crippled like rufus
9)YUFFIE STOLE ALL THE MATERIA AND COMBINED THEM Into BECOMING chEESE MATERIA
10) in the end nobody was wrong but yuffie because no mores materia existed on earth
