Fina Fantasy 7 PC Music Patch?

Ive heard theres a patch out there that can replace the PC versions music with the real PSX version. Anyone know where I can find it? I got one off fileplanet but cant figure out how to get it to work, I dont want to go and play through the game and be missing the true expereince:(

Personally, I wouldn't bother. I think the PC version is better done than the PS version. The music isn't that different, and the dialogue is much improved.

But the music in the PC version is all midi? That psx version has to be better somehow?

Wow, I had no idea such a thing exsisted...awesome. Now I can play FFVIII PC with the greatness of PSX audio rather than the crappy MIDIs. :D

Yes, it does. I've been playing FFVIII with one of them and it's flawless.

Is there any way to switch back to the midi music without totally reinstalling the game?

Wait, you said you have been playing FFVIII with them? That is Final Fantasy 8, I'm asking if it works for Final Fantasy 7. If it works for FFVII, can you tell me which one to download because there are a bunch of them and I don't know which one to download.
