mirage question

I know that in the hidden town of mirage there is a guy there who will igve me a gift if I fly a chocobo around the world. I did do this but he never gave me the gift! Why is this?

Also, in one of the secret areas in this town close to where the piano is, there is a door that when you open it the area changes color and you hear the sound of a ghost, right? What is going on there? :confused:

He meant he'd give you something if you rode a yellow chocobo around the world. You know, on the ground.

That door will make sense when you go through the final dungeon.

if you do it youll get a mirage vest. its a good peice of armour to have but there are better.and it has to be done with a yellow chocobo. i have a question. is it possible to get ot mirage village in the first world.
