What are your thoughts on it?

Brilliant movie, in my opinion. I love it, even though it was short. I loved the singing and the music was amazing. I need the soundtrack. Some parts were so beautiful that I was almost crying. :)

A+, fo sho'

I loved "Tears To Shed" and the piano songs in it. They're so beautiful. I wish Emily sang more, she has a beautiful voice.

What's it about?

Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion, animated feature follows the story of Victor, a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride, while his real bride, Victoria, waits bereft in the land of the living. Although life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love.

I'm going to see it in about an hour and half and I am excited like that bouncy smilie.

Are there going to be spoilers here? Are there spoilers to give? If so, please remember to mark the thread spoiler'd. Babies will cry if you don't.

I'd rather people not spoil the movie, although now that I think about it, there isn't much to spoil, because it's really, really predictable.

That didn't stop me from really liking it though. =D Not the best movie, or Tim Burton movie I've ever seen, but it was really good, and entertaining, and very nice to look at. "Cute" comes to mind. All the voices were fantastic as well, which made the experience even better. Good voice work can do a lot for an animated movie.

So yeah, I liked it.

I thought it was hiliarious, but I AM easily amused, but eh, It's a good movie, it's not Tim Burton's best by far, but it's not bad at all.

I haven't really liked a Tim Burton movie since Edward Scissorhands, so I don't imagine I'll be crazy about this one, either.

He pretty much lost me with that bastardization of a classic film, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

I'd still like to see it though. I love The Nightmare Before Christmas.

It was Ok. I saw i last night. I personally am a bigger fan of Nightmare before Christmas. The music in Nightmare is much catchier and i just thought overall it wasn't as good as it could be. Although there were definete high points in the movie.

He didn't bastardize a classic film. He ignored a classic film that he felt didn't properly portray the book and made his own version based on the book. You're fired!

I really enjoyed this movie. It had great voice acting as well as an exceptional musical score. I loved piano battle between Victor and Emily. Seeing it with a bunch of my friends didn't hurt either.

Over all, it was a great movie despite Victor not catching the damned C# when playing the piano in the beginning.

Edit: Oh, and the ending was the movie's only major downfall for me. Really, it looked like one of those "We're overbudget and out of time!" endings.

About 30 of us from school went to see it last night. It was overall decent although I wasn't particularly fond of the ending. I was hoping Victor and the Corpse Bride would get together. :fpsad:

I was hoping Victor and the Corpse Bride would get together.

This is what I wanted also. The ending was my leat favorite part, actually, It mean, it's ok I guess, but it's just not a good ending compared to the rest of it.

Why on earth would you want Victor and Emily to get together? She was DEAD.

But I suppose the skeleton in the bowler and the fat chick got on well. That was so funny.

FatLady: *screams and runs*
SkeletonwithBowlerHat: "Don't run, baby! I looooove a woman with meat on her bones."

I like sexually deviant dead people. So sue me.
