When did you first play Final Fantasy?

When did you first play final fantasy?
I did at age 9(FFVII)...I didn't understand a thing (: That's why i decided to learn english.

So...:
What was the first FF you played - And when?

I first played FFVII (it was my first FF) when it was new in 1997. I was like 12 or 13 I think.

I first played FFVII in '97 when I was 15 :o Of course then I went back and bought I, III, and Mystic Quest :)

My first one was FF7 when I was 5-6, I'm thirteen now just so you know. I'm really good with computers, techs, and playing the guitar.

To be honest, I first played IX, I 'borrowed' it off a friend who was busy with seven. Then he gave me VII and VIII at the same time so that I'd play them slower.
I'm fourteen now, for all who are interested and I wish I could play Guitar,but I was destined to play Keyboard.

FFIX. I think it was in 2001. Technically, the first time was in 1996-1997 when I played FFI. But at that time, I didn't even know what I was playing. It was just another one of my friend's games.

5 years ago. I was 15. It was FFVIII. But the first time i layed eyes on the game was about a year before that and it was VII. One of my friends brought it over and I watched him play it.

my first was 7, it was like the day it came out (so 1997 i think). so i wil have been *does quick calculation in head* 8 or 9. wow. and its stil going strong. god has blessed us with ff :D

My baby sitter had a SNES with FFVI. I got to the desert. Then stopped.
Years later My bro brought home FFVII when It was released. I beat/loved. Then carried on with the series.....

My first FF was FFX. that was in like during christmas of 2001 and my friends let me borrow it, but i didnt beat it til the summer of 2002 because i didnt really play it that much. After that i played FFVII,FVIII,FFIX,FFTA,FFT,and i have FFXI but no hard drive.... :cry: but i think im gettin it for the 360 when it comes out :D

Some guy I talked to on-line introduced me to it.
As soon as I saw Terra and her awesome green hair I fell in love with her character as well as the game itself pretty fast.

FF7 about 4 years ago. Borried it from a friend, didn't complete it. Then borrowed FF8, didn't complete it. Borrowed FF9 from game shop, then bought it, didn't complete it. Just bought a new copy of FF7, still playing it. I had FF10, but I got bored of it when someone spoiled the ending for me....

When I was 10, I first met Final Fantasy 6 through emulation. But I got to the part with Vargras and quit. Then I started Final Fantasy 5. I got to the part with the airship. The first real bought FF was FFX. And a GERMAN FFVII. I still hate myself for falling for that one.

Back then FFX just got released, those were the good days...Anyway my first FF was the greatest Final Fantasy i've ever played. It
had dynamic plotline with...plot holes great music especially the ending,
lots of cursing, and annoying characters! Well u dont have to be Carol Vorderman to figure this out.

My first Final Fantasy was Tactics Advance. I got around two years ago when I was 11, and I loved it. I beat it several times, then I got Dawn of Souls a few weeks ago, and loved both I and II. I plan on getting IV when it comes out for the GBA, III (the Japanese one) when it comes out for the DS, I'm getting a PS2 so I can play VII, VIII, IX, and X, (not X-2, because I heard it sucked), and if the Revolution can download Final Fantasy games (and I'm praying it will), I would download V and VI.

I really pity you if your first final fantasy was FF Tactics Advance. That would have put me off FF if i played that first! That is like being completely clueless about RPGS and playing FF9

I kind of remember playing ffvi when I was really young, but I'm not even sure if that's a real memory or not because it was so long ago. I remember watching my dad play FFvii when it first came out, but I don't remember if I actually played it. I was seven years old then. I got ffviii and lunar:eternal blue as a birthday present on my 10th or 11th birthday. I think that's when I really started playing ff a lot and realized how much I like rpg games.
