Constraints:
You have 8 hours from this post time.
Must be a recent song - 1990s and on, 2000 and on preferable.
Lyrics must be explicitly about being cheated on - no "this song was written after he broke up with his girlfriend" crap.
Must be an awesome song.

I need it for a comparative analysis paper on rock music.

Thanks for your help.

in keeping with the "what concert is Brendan attending tonight" you should check out The Walkmen's "No Christmas While I'm Talking" off the album Bows + Arrows. Pretty much about finding out you are being cheated, although it isn't explicitly about a girlfriend, I guess. And good luck finding lyrics online. I <a href=http://www.hypnotoad-online.com/walkmen/lyrics/Bows%20and%20Arrows/No%20Christmas%20While%20I'm%20Talking.html>did</a>, but it took a while.

(Falling In Love (Is Hard On The Knees) - Nine Lives)

You're so bad, you're so bad, you're so
You're so bad, you're so bad, you're so

You think you're in love
Like it's a real sure thing
But every time you fall
You get yo' ass in a sling
You used to be strong
But now it's "ooh baby please"
'Cause falling in love is so hard on the knees

You're so bad, you're so bad, you're so
You're so bad, you're so bad, you're so

We was making love
When you told me that you loved me
I thought ol' cupid
He was taking aim
I was believer when you told me
That you loved me
And then you called me
Someone elses name

There ain't gonna be no more
Beggin' you please
You know what I want
And it ain't one of these
You're bad to the bone
And your girlfriend agreed
That falling in love is so hard on the knees

You're so bad, you're so bad, you're so
You're so bad, you're so

Chip off the old block
Man, you're so much like your sister
My fantasize it must be out of luck
My old labido has been
Blowing a transistor
I feel like I have been hit by a fuck
Yeah

I'm Jones' in' on love
Yeah I got the DT's
You say that we will
Bbut there ain't no guarentees
I'm major in love
but in all minor key
'Cause falling in love is so hard on the knees

What are you looking for
It's got to be hard core
Must be some kind of nouveau riche

Is this your only chance
Or some hypnotic trance
Let's get you on a tighter leach

You're so bad, you're so bad, you're so
You're so bad, you're so bad, you're so

You ain't that good
Is what you said
Down to the letter
But you like the way
I hold the microphone
Sometimes I good but
When I'm bad I'm even better
Don't give me no lip
I've got enough of my own

There ain't gonna be
No more beggin' you please
You know what I want
and it ain't one of these
You're bad to the bone
And your girlfriend agreed
That falling in love is so hard on the knees

I'm jones' in' on love
Yeah I got the DT's
You say that we will, yeah
But there ain't no gurantees
I'm major in love
but in all minor key
'Cause falling in love is so hard on the knees

While that Walkmen song is cool, I don't think I can write enough about it. Since I'm comparing it to Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", I'm thinking of settling on Rupert Holmes's "Him" (motown traces, an awesome song, you know).

I went through a bunch of songs, Googled the hell out of the Internet, and ventured into the depth of emo and punk and all that stuff I never listen to (Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Dashboard... *shudder*) as well as some Finch and Goldfinger (not as shudder, but meh), and some cool songs, like Rob Dougan - Left Me for Dead, Rehab - Sittin' at a Bar, Third Eye Blind - anything really, and so on.

I'll still take some more suggestions, since I won't start the paper until tonight, but you're up against Rupert Holmes. Thanks everyone for your help.

How about every single Country song ever written (besides the ones that are about beer or war)?

Oh wait, rock songs only.

How about every single pop-emo song ever written (besides the ones that are about hating your parents)?

Oh wait, good songs only.

I got nothing. Sorry. :(

There's always Theory of a Dead Man's "No Surprise".

Friday is when you left me
So I'll drink myself to sleep
And Sunday is when I wake up
Not to remember a thing

My friends all say the same thing
I don't know my new girl too well
(and I know) That all this lying gets to me
And no one seems to give a <img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif">
(the way) She talks to every guy in the bar
(I guess) It should've raised some kind of alarm
Who'd ever think I'd go and end up
Like all the other guys that you gone and fucked

(CHORUS)
Well it ain't no surprise
That you turn me on and leave
It ain't no surprise
That you turn it around on me
I don't know why
You won't give me what I need
It ain't no surprise
(Whoa) That that bitch is leaving me

My friends are mean to me
They say I don't break up too well
(they know) That all this crying gets to me
And no one seems to give a <img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif">
I know you want to, so go on and say it
Just go on and say it (x2)

(Chorus)

(leaving me) (x3)

Friday is when you left me
So I drank myself to sleep
And Sunday I never woke up

(Chorus)

Whoa that that bitch is leaving me

Ooh, also Killswitch Engage with "The End of Heartache".

This distance
This dissolution
I cling to memories while falling
Sleep brings release
And the hope of a new day
Waking the misery of being without you

Surrender, I give in
Another moment is another eternity

(Seek me) For comfort
(Call me) For solace
(I値l be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
(Seek me) Completion
(Call me) I値l be waiting
(I値l be waiting) For the end of my broken heart

You know me
You know me all too well
My only desire to bridge our division

In sorrow I speak your name
And my voice mirrors
Mirrors my torment

(Seek me) For comfort
(Call me) For solace
(I値l be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
(Seek me) Completion
(Call me) I値l be waiting
(I値l be waiting) For the end of my broken heart

Am I breathing?
My strength fails me
Your picture a bitter memory

For comfort
For solace

(Seek me) For comfort
(Call me) For solace
(I値l be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
