I have decided to pick up another FF game, but I am stuck between FFIX and FFT. I have enjoyed both the standard FFs and FFTA. So which one do you guys think is better? I'd appreciate your opinions.

I haven't played tactics, but I would still reccomend it over ff9.

I've played both and personally prefered FF9.

Anyway, it depends which type of game you prefer; regular RPG's or strategy RPG's like FF:TA. FFIX is IMO the best of the regular FF games, but if you prefer the battle system seen in FF:TA then you might want to go for Tactics.

FFT is really, really difficult. It's a great game. Just very hard.

If you're looking for a more casual experience, FFIX is the better choice.

If you want an RPG with some of the best writing, character development, and style of any game ever made, then pick FFIX. But if you want some really deep strategy and combat elements and you've got hours upon hours to spare, then play FFT.

I'd go with FFT. I've played and beaten both about three times each, and while I am playing FFIX again, I'd still have to say go with FFT.

These other people are nuts ;)
