If they're anything like Galuf, they're brave *and* hot.

The wolf-man had a bit of an animal magnetism for sure.

*chokes* Heh, awkward. Of course they weren't brave. They couldn't even seal x-death on thier own damn planet. Too scared, they left him on some other junk planet.

Was Galuf the only one that went back to world one help anyways? Drogden or /we stayed behind... but thats about it :D

so half the team sucked.

Yeah, why should they leave their crappy evil mega-badass bad guy on Butz's world in the first place?

If I were him I'd have released X-Death just to spite them and their toxic waste disposal system.

*thinks happy thoughts*

If you followed the story line boys, it seems like they suggest that space was the void, doesnt it? Just in the fact that to seal off the void, they had to create two planets from the one, thus creating space in this game? Hilarious :D

playing through it now, it seems like they followed exdeath to bartz' world, were fighting him, couldn't find any way they could kill him, so they thought 'let's seal him here!'

dorgan was all 'why should we do this on someone else's poor world?!' but then Exdeath st arted to regain strength, galuf curses, dorgan still quails, but gives in to seal him with the crystal power.

Zeza, Galuf, and Kelgar get ready to head back to their world, but Dorgan decides to stay behind to make sure exdeath stays sealed.

so they weren't so much cowards as in a bind.
this is the first time you go to kelg village in world 2.

I like just beat this game - hoorah!... way too easy for one, cept the opt bosses are tough

Yeah, so it is apparent that X-zone sends monsters to the void as you have to fight Gilgamesh in the void again after Exdeath banishes him there.

What a fun game though. As for the warriors of dawn not being able to kill Xdeath, neither do the warriors of the crystal. The simply kill Neo Exdeath, which I will argues is exdeath with the power of the void, save for the power of the void ruling over exdeath.

Also, I was merely joking about the warriors of dawn being cowards for leaving exdeath sealed on someone else's planet.

Oh come on, it’s been 3 days! If no one posts here, they might merge this forum with that piece of crap FFIV!

Anyway…

It is unlikely that Neo X-Death is the same entity as the original X-Death, as the only thing they share is a similar name. As ‘X-Death’ mean ‘Exceeding Death’, this it more of a title than an actual name. Neo X-Death means “The New X-Death”, so it could just mean “the new ruler” or something along those lines. Neo X-Death looks nothing like X-Death, and has very different goals, so I think it is safe to assume that it is a completely different being.

Originally I thought that Neo X-Death may have been Enuo, but I have since discovered additional dialogue within the game that militates against that conclusion, so that means that Neo X-Death is either some random monster that shows up at the end (in a similar way to how Necron just shows up in FFIX), or a physical manifestation of the void (which in itself goes against what the void is supposed to represent, but whatever…).

Neo Exdeath wants to erase all memories, all existance, all dimensions, and then fade away. Forever

Yes. Yes he does...

Yes, the dialog that Exdeath (this is what he is called on my emulator - I don't play my CD version anymore -load times) spewes before he dies led me to belive that in his final death, his actual death, he found the true power of the void. The void basically means destruction, death to all. Obtaining the power of the void would then prolly only be obtainable in death.

This may be what Enuo had since discovered - though I do not remember what happend to that guy - he was sealed in the void?

anyways, just my thoughts.

Dorgan was the cool one who stayed behind and gave birth to the pimpingest little kid.

...Well, HE didn't give birth. That would just be wrong.
