Have you you ever been in a talent show?,What did you perform?,What did you win?,What place did you come in? How may people were also in it?

Last year,I was in the talent show.I sang "thousand Words" from FFX-2 ,while my Music teacher played the piano. And I came in third place.GRRRR! if only that girl, hadn't, holded that last note out for a whole 30 seconds.I would have came in first. Plus There were 13 talentans people.

No, but I've gotten a solo in Chorus and I got only a few points from a perfect score in NYSSMA (you go in and sing a song that you've learned for a few months to some judges and you do a sight reading exercise and they judge you, and if you're good enough, you can go to All-County/All-State.)

If my High School had a talent show, I'd probably take a stab at it.

In the sixth grade, yes, I was. My friend and I dressed up really goofy and danced around on stage singing "You're Not The Boss of Me" by They Might Be Giants.

Yeah, only once, in fourth grade. My friend (who was the tallest person in our school, by the way) demonstrated this karate move she had learned. So she did something like, flip me backwards onto a mat, or I don't really remember. Although I do remember that it hurt.

Never actually entered a Talent Show per say. I have wowed audiences with my comedy, singing and acting in the past.

When i was about 12 i performed the song 'Hakunamatata' on stage with a friend at some school camp. We felt extremely stupid afterwards despite all the people who loved it.

Heres a pretty crappy version of the song

Man you should get the live Emerson Lake and Palmer show where
Emerson plays Maple Leaf, it's excellent.

Props to you as well on playing it. ;]

ELP have done some great adaptations. Pictures at an Exhibition is fantastic.

I've never been in a talent show. :(

That it is. I have a version that's only like 20 minutes long, it's different
from the album but I think it's a lot better. Earlier version I believe,
without any of the extras added in, at least not as many extras as there
are on the album.

Toccata is an awesome adaptation too. I thought it was just crazy and
wierd, but then I heard the original song and it's just as crazy. I don't
like the song all that much, but how they adapted it was superb.

I've been in a lot of talent shows. My mom was and still is a music teacher, so outside of just playing in her recitals, I was constantly thrust upon larger stages as well. Unfortunately, I can't claim any wins, since most of my performances were piano pieces that while played well, were rather generic and unmemorable. :p
