Zelda dont be sick, has it come to be that a simple person cant say erected on a forum without sexual connotations :choc:

Yes, it's being pushed earlier and earlier each year it seems. They used to at least wait until Halloween was over, but not anymore.

That's nothing. My mom is well known for stockpiling gifts all year long. If there's an event, she's ready.

Anyway, at least the madness really doesn't kick in until Black Friday.

everyone i know thinks its stupid how early people start with the christmas decorations, but everyone around my town does it, so i guess my friends and family are the only ones that think that way where i live

maybe the people that start so early are just way too anxious about christmas so they try to get an early start and do the 90 days of christmas

Christmas always takes the spotlight off of Halloween. The bastard.

Me and a friend set the common room Christmas tree ablaze a couple of years ago, and I fully recommend you do the same. If the police ask, I am a voice in your head and not a real person (it's near enough to the truth anyway)

We don't put up our decorations until Thanksgiving day. It's bloody ridiculous the way things are getting done these days.

im 16 and my sister is 19, we dont really care about holidays too much anymore since its just us and our mom, we basically just each get each other 1 present and sometimes put up a tree like a week b4 christmas, why be so festive? we're past our childhoods

It helps get me excited. I love the build up to christmas. I've waited for the better half of a year for christmas and I want the build up too last as long as possible. Christmas stuff in shops pwns halloween stuff in shops anyway.

Yeah, and I find it funny. xD My friend's family decorates in September sometimes. It's kind of scary. :greenie:

I don't put up decorations at all, and I wait until the week of Christmas before I buy anything for anyone.

Christmas at my house is whenever I feel like it is. Usually around the second week of December. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later. Of course it also hangs around until mid-January because I am then too lazy to take everything down and put it all away again.

Christmas shopping for me is done whenever I find something that I know would be just right for someone so that could be anytime. You never find just the right thing if you wait until the last minute. So most of my Christmas shopping is already done and has been for quite some time now.

xD I'd be scared too.

My family don't decorate til my birthday, 14th Dec. Of course, my mum has bought all the necessary girfts and such, months in advance. :D

Yeah, they're already setting up the Christmas displays at work. All the little fake, fiber optic firs and the multi-racial Santa's and angels and ugly stockings that cost 232435432432 dollars and you know it don't bother me none because our store isn't pretty when it's dressed up for Christmas, and we play the WORST CHRISTMAS MUSIC EVER so I ain't fussed. :)

The Christmas stock in the shop I work in replaced the summer stock so we had Christmas stuff out just around the end of August/start of September.

I hate Christmas, bah humbug!

We still let Halloween pass over here, but Thanksgiving is pretty much skipped over entirely since it doesn't make that much money.
