I meant the overall impact of the game, would it have been just as good a game without the Moogles?

I dont think anyone would notice and it wouldnt effect anything on the impact if they were replaced with something.

I'm sure if I played both versions of the game, I'd no doubt say the Moogle version was better. However, had they not existed in the game, I wouldn't be "OMG LIEK DIS GAIM NEEDZ MOOGLEZ!"

Yes, especially after the virtually moogle-less Final Fantasy VIII.

They'd have to take out some sidequests like the moogle letters and Mognet Central and feeding the moogle family and they would have to replace Mene (the moogle that owns Choco) and lots of other stuff and that wouldnt be cool.

Ive never been a fan of moogles (or chocobos for that matter) so to me the game would be the same. Gotta admit though, the moogles look best in this game.

It would have been fine without them. A good ol' save sphere or save point would have sufficed.

Although, the moogles were a nice addition.

FFX/FFX-2 were also lacking in moogles. They only appeared as weapons/DSs.

the game would not be as good what about side quests like mognet central it mite ruin it yet the game has a good stroy line has it is but moggles are a cool part about ff games ^_^

Anyway, considering the nature of FFIX, it would be ludicrous to even consider that moogles wouldn't be included, thus meh.

It would be a little different. But i did enjoy the moogles. Kupo!
