I like the show. They got some very good episodes with some nice very out of the world things going on. Sometimes something you'ld never expect, or just a new twist on some paranormal event, but they make it out differently then you would think.
But by far thier humourous episodes in the middle of the series with all the randomness of Mulder. Ah I still love the episode with the genie in it, and all of Mulder's antics. ^^

X-Files was a wonderful show up until the time David Duchovny left. I couldnt stand the new agents and the last episode just made things more confusing.
Before all that, the show had a great way of being alternately weird and serious. Episodes like Home (the one with the creepy inbreeding and whatnot) were downright frightening, while episodes like Small Potatoes (the one where the guy can shapeshift into other people and assumes the guise of Mulder near the end) were freaking hilarious. They mixed humor and drama into almost every episode, and it was a great great series.

I agree, the series seriously did go downhill once they got rid of Mulder. And most of the new agents just plain sucked. Although Doggit wasn't too bad I thought. But ya without Mulder it just wasn't the same.

I thought it was a really, really great series, until the end, with the new agents and all that; like everyone else has already said. I was pretty obsessed with it a few years ago.
I thought the movie was really good as well.

Stupid Robert "Have You Seen This Man?" Patrick.
I'm being paid to stalk Dean Haglund [the geek guy from the lone rangers trio of guys who help mulder out a lot] this weekend.
OH MY GOD I JUST REMEMBERED THAT JOE IS MULDER! *squee*

Lone Gunman, you fiend!

He wasnt bad, but he wasnt anything special either, at least not special enough to fill Mulder's shoes.
I found it very tiresome how they essentially just switched roles with the two new agents. The girl was the believer (I cant remember her name) and Dogget was the skeptic. I didnt see the neccesity of pulling that again.

Yes, it was The Lone Gunman xD. He wrote a comic about why it was cancelled ;_;.
I got into the show (sadly) when Doggit and the other one were leading the show. I liked the last episode though, and I didn't have much problem with the new agents, although the switching of ideas (believer/skeptic) was a bit lame.
I'm (slowly) getting the series on DVD from Series One and it was better back then, so yeah: Great Great show.

New agents?
I thought it was Skully and the new guy Doggit for the last one? Or did they go more seasons after that? I must've lost track.

I loved it, my fav episode was the one with the boy who was possessed, I think it was in Season 2, very scary for an X Files episode.

Was that dogget dude the same guy that was in Terminator 2? I did see some eps with someone new guy in it ages ago, not sure if it was him or not.

Well, they kinda killed it themselves. The whole freaking show was a mulder-fest. he was the only one that chased anything, ninety nine percent of the plot (outside whatever "case" they were on) was mulder, the show was mulder. You lose Mulder, you lose the show. then it's just a retarded show about conspiracy
