I got recognised in the street of a city 5 hours drive away from Napier today because they saw my band play live. They came up to me and said "hey you're in Dave Studio" and complimented me on playing etc.

Made me feel special.

Anyway are you a famous or semi famous? Would you want to be?

Not famous at all, but I do get recognized on the street a lot, since I live in a small town and I work in a convenience store. Actually, I can't remember the last time I was in town without meeting anyone who knew me. Nice feeling. :cool:

My dad went to Hendrix's birthday the year of woodstock, but other than that don't have any connections with anyone famous that I can think of. And my dad's a classical guitarist... he knew some people in a recording studio and went with them.
