Does anyone actually have proof to how it's pronounced, Se-fee-roth or Se-fi-roth

i kinda pronounce it Sel- phi - oth. The only proof is really the One Winged angel song were they go 'SEPHIROTH!' You could listen real close?

Just listen to One Winged Anegl they say it in there a good deal. Or watch Advent Children, they probably mention his name a bajillion times.

In japanese it's pronounced Se-fee-ros.

In english it's pronounced with the same "i" sounds used in American (sorry I couldn't think of any other words.) Se-phi-roth.

Me also pronounced it as Sep-ee-roth.
Silent 'h'...also in Qabala/Cabala/Kabbala whatever they pronounce it with a 'f' sound.

the correct way to pronouce it is in the one winged angel song when they say it. its sef-E-roth. the 't' and 'h' combine to sound lyk a 's' just download, listen and you shall know

how about we just say it how we think it's said by the way if you hare the song when fighting the 2nd sephiroth you can hare how it's said and it's the same as i say it but then again some people may say another way

are people forgetting that the way sephiroth is pronounced in the one winged angel is the way they say sephiroth out in japan. its sounds like se-phi-los in that.

The japanese can't pronounce any non-japanese word correctly, so just disregard whatever they say in AC :P.

I have no idea why, but I used to call him Sef-ih-roe.
Now that I think about it that makes no sense, but it was when the game first came out and I was only about 7?
Now I pronounce it Sef-ih-roth or Sef-ee-roth. It's different every time I try to say it. So yeah, I really don't know.

I was told by Cloud Lionheart, in person. He said it was pronounced Se-fire-roth but he was always a pyromaniac (likes fire) but in one winged angel and the film (kinda) It's se-fee-roth. But as was pointed out, the Japanese pronounce things different.
So I say that we must...

Decide on the pronunciation ourselves!

In Japanese, it's pronounced 'sef-ee-ross' (They don't have the 'th' sound)

So I say 'sef-ee-roth'.
