what would be your favourite final fantasy areas or places? mine was macalania woods ffx, most magical

hmm... mine is... god this is hard! I like so many! i'll say Winhill village FF8. i think it looks so peacefull there... i'd love to live there!

For me it is the Calm Lands. It made me feel free, because I could go anywhere- it is just so big and open! Also the music that plays there fits that so well, my favorite of X.

On FF9 had a small island were you only fought theses dragon things that levled you up relly fast.

Any town in FF1 does it for me, if only for the best piece of music conceived by NU.

This is always difficult as Final Fantasy places have a tendancy of getting horridly messed up by rampaging evil people.

That being said I am probably most partial to Ivalice in general in FFT. It actually feels like a real world, much like Spira does, because the way it is handled gives the impression that it is indeed populated by more than just thirty people in a handful of towns.

in ff7 i say the north crater cause it is a breath taking site, Cosmo canyon cause of its breath taking sites as well.
in ffX i would also say the calm lands cause of the wide range and peaceful music.
And last but not least, Zanarkand(in ruins), its such an interesting area. The fact that it was once a huge city with millions of people and now its just in ruins. the vastness of the water and the sprits(forget there names) in the distance in a wave like fashion. And the music has a calm yet sad feeling to it. A truly amazing combination of peace and sadness. :)+:cry:

Most of the FF8 places were cool
I loved Balamb and Balamb Garden, Deling City, Esthar, Dollet and so on...
FF7's Gold Saucer!!!!!!!!
FFX's Luca was pretty good, but that was about it
All the towns and stuff in the other FF's look the same so it probably doesn't make a difference
