Does anyone have any good ways to beat the game in less than 12 hours?

Skip FMV's by opening the disk tray.

Get the right abilities and weapons.

theres no way under 12 hrs
the second time i went throught it it took me 36hrs
first time 55hrs

save b4 u set abilities and buy things, then after u know what u want reset and do it faster, skip everything that doesnt invlolve the storyline, make sure u do exactly what ur supposed to if u save, dont waste time, if u get stuck, just restart

it IS possible, very easy if u beat it a couple times b4

Excalibur II has the best attack power of any of Steiner's swords, but you can teach all the abilities it carries to Steiner using other knight swords. Not worth the bother IMO.

I beat FFVII in 16 hours once, so I definitely see beating FFIX in 12 hours possible.
