I have a show in 22.75 hours, and my voice is below par. What are some sore throat rememdies you know? I hae already gargled salt water, drank honey whiskey and lemon mixture, and down lemon tea.
within a day? i think ur screwed. u could try some over the counter stuff but not many are fast acting for a swollen throat, im gonna assume thats why ur losing ur voice

I may not be screwed... this morning I couldn't even talk, and now I can almost speak in my normal tone of voice...
As for meds, I dunno if my doc has any open appointments...

Id say som sort of honey or vitamin C drop, they work well for me.
Usually, I have a sore throat before I have concerts too, but I can usually pull through since I'm in chorus concerts. I've never had a sore throat during a solo though.
Lemon Cough Drops, salt water and not talking much help. Sorry I can't help much. I hope you feel better soon so you can sing awesomely for your show. :)

consume a lot of Vitamin C to keep your body healthy and immune system strong. drink more orange juice if you are feeling sick.

Thanks guys... I'll try that. I have to be in tip-top shape for my 3 solos and 1 duet.
Be Prepared - Lion King
Can You Feel the Love Tonight? - Lion King
Kiss the Girl - Little Mermaid
Friend Like Me - Aladdin
eating cold things usually help me when I have a sore throat, but maybe I'm just weird.

You got some awesome solos! My chorus will only have two solos for this winter concert, as far as I know, and they're not too great. One is the last line for Anastacia - Once Upon A December and the other is the descant "Ooooohs" for Oye La Musica for a Soprano 1 (like me) or maybe a 2. I think we miiiiiiiight have Silent Night as a group solo. :)

After my vocal surgery a couple of months ago, I haven't been able to speak loud. Sorry to hear about your voice!

first of all, you need the Revive materia. Then you need to level it up until you reach a secret level called "Resurrection." Then you need to find the sector 5 key, and get back to the church in Midgar and use the materia. pretty simple.

 OMFG, OF COURSE!!!!
I have 4.5 hours left. If I keep recovering at this rate, I can sturggle through 3 of my pieces... I need to drop Friend Like Me... the last note is evil.
Also, all of my remedies only seem to last for 30 minutes... meaning I need to take it with me.

You forgot about feeding super sweepers to Cait Sith
Try opening your voice in different methods. Voice exercises. I have learned some pretty good tricks on drama lessons. Works for me if I barely have a voice. I'm sure you know few as well.
