This is aimed mainly at the Bassists out there, but you Guitarists feel free to join in.

What do you prefer using, your fingers or a plex? Personally as a Bass player I feel restricted using a plex. You can't slap very effectively (I saw someone launch a plex into someone's eye attempting to slap with one), though popping is possible. Using my fingers just seem more natural. It's faster, I can switch between strings better, plus it saves my wrist no end.

What's your style?

Yup. Insane really, isn't it? Notable people that come to mind who do play with a Plex would be Lemy, Steve Harris and Tom Araya (may or may not, but I'm pretty sure he does).

Oh. I figured as such, but I wasn't 100% sure since I'd never seen the name. But yeah, real bass players use their fingers.
