These days TV just seems to be getting worse and worse, but there's still a lot of it I like to watch, even if I don't actually watch it on TV but download the episode from the 'net because America gets it months before the UK does. And of course then there's sport.

Cricket
Formula One Grand Prix
Football (Soccer - only when England, Man Utd or Liverpool are playing)
Rugby (both Union and League, only when involving an NZ team)
The 4400
Lost
The O.C.
One Tree Hill
Stargate SG-1
Battlestar Galactica

Every now and then I'll watch Scrubs, Friends, The Simpsons, South Park, Cheers, M.A.S.H., Everybody Loves Raymond or something else on the comedy channel. I also watch the odd movie.

House.

That's it, anything else is just background when I don't feel like listening to music.

I hear ya. My tv watching consists of:
Hockey
Sports Highlights, between TSN (that's Canadian ESPN), "Sportsnet" and "The Score"
The Trailer Park Boys
F1 Grand Prix
Re-runs of Friends (if I'm really bored, on occasion, that's just during channel surfing)
Sometimes Discovery Channel
Comedy Network
Movies, if they're showing something decent on one of the channels

Out of all the channels in my cable package, I actually tune in to less than 10% of the channels.

Not a lot...I'm not much of a TV person. When it is on however, I generally like to watch:

Stargate SG1 reruns
MST3k
Futurama
Some sports (football or baseball)
Random anime that is on at certain points of the day

Meat Puppet

unfortunately free tv porn has storylines, so nothing

Scrubs, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and Angel.
But I mostly miss most of the episodes since dislike TV.
And watch a good movie from time to time.

Zero Hour - Disaster at Chernobyl (whenever it's on).

QI (very funny and usually quite interesting).
Jonathan Creek.
Have I Got News For You.

And anything else that takes my fancy.

I only watch Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. Oh and FarScape on weekends.

I think it's less to do with TV itself getting worse, but more of peoples tastes becoming more sophisticated over time (at least some people). I myself used to watch TV pretty much from the second I got in. Now I rarely have it on. I primarily watch comedy shows more than anything else. I occasionally flick over to the music channels, but I've grown to love more "non-mainstream" bands over the years. Classic FM's always good mind you.

I avoid watching TV as much as possible, simply because I'm angry with networks and their cancel happy tendencies. I keep up with the writers I like, and will flip on the tube to support whatever they're doing, but that's about it. The only two shows I keep up with religiously are Lost, and Veronica Mars.

I am, however, a huge fan of TV on DVD. Come on, no commercials, every episode right there whenever I want it... =D In that case, I rotate through Firefly, X-Files, Buffy, Angel, Tru Calling, and Strangers With Candy.

Snap at the moment. Not much I'm enjoying on tv just now so I'm watching a lot I missed on DVD. Just started Tru Calling. Despite the pretty lame concept some of the episodes are fairly good. The one with the guy fom the Dune mini series and little girl was seriously bloody sad... I can see why this got cancelled. Jason Priestley really needs to lay off the carbs.

That's about all I can think of for now.

I'll try to list everything I use the TV for these days:

Football: Every sunday and monday (and sometimes saturday and thursday), I usually watch every NFL game that I can. I am addicted to football.

nascar racing: yeah, I usually follow nascar pretty closely. Once football starts, I usually only watch it during football commercials.

comedy central: Otherwise, if I have the TV on as background noise for when I'm on the computer or playing video games (I have two tvs in the same room) then it's almost always on comedy central. Shows I particularly like include South Park, Reno 911, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. However, I usually end up seeing a lot of crap on there as well. Drawn Together, anyone?

America's Next Top Model 4, Desperate Housewives, The Runway, Cone High and 3 News. Or One News. I'm not home very often, so I don't catch those shows as much as I'd like, but I catch them more often than I should, so about five or six hours a week gone on account of my television set.

I do not have television...ButI used to watch anime on Friday nights, and watch Las Vega, and Desperate Housewives with my parents. Oh and Charmed when I found out when it is on.

One thing cool is I watch shows I do not normally watch with my grandma, she watches some pretty nifty shows. Zoe Buisick: Wild Card, Sue Thomas: FBI, and she watches Nascar religiously...She was a big Earnhart Sr fan, now she rallies for Jr.

I miss spending time with my family...

I don't watch anything anymore. Ever since school's started up, I just stopped watching Adult Swim, even though I love it. But I can't stay up that late anymore, because of many a thing. It's too much of a hassle.

That's the only thing I would watch, anyways. Well, that and some Comedy Central, but I never even rememebr to turn on the tv, so...nothing. Nothing nothing nothing.

I don't think TV is getting worse; I think there's getting to be more of it.

The only shows I make sure to watch when they're actually on are South Park and Desperate Housewives. I try to catch 30 Days and Bull but I usually just download them later.

Other than that I watch stuff if it's on when I happen to watch TV, like Iron Chef, most Adult Swim cartoons and FOX cartoons, Myth Busters, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, The Cosby Show, Mind of Mencia, Bringing Home Baby, Dr. Phil, Super Nanny, Martha...

I also watch anime from time to time, and watch Asian dramas when I find a good one. Right now I'm waiting for the next episode of the new Japanese Hana Yori Dango drama to be released with eager anticipation. And when I have time I've been trying to catch up on Firefly, which I have on bootleg DVD.

All three CSI's (though I often miss CSI: NY), Law & Order and SVU, Battlestar Gallactica, Stargate SG-1, Smallville, Lost, and Mythbusters. It seems like a lot, but thankfully the new seasons don't line up with eachother. We're not getting the new season of SG-1 until early next month, and Battlestar doesn't start again until January here. Ironically, they're the shows I want to see the most.
