Anyone got tips on how to beat him on the bridge in the second world.

Faris- Monk
Galuf - Black Mage

Make sure they have lots of good equipment too

Make sure you have someone with !Steal when you fight him after that. You can get each piece of Genji equipment, if you're lucky enough.

Or better yet, !Capture.

use a summoner to quickly destroy him when he starts using jump and use haste,shell and protect at the start of the battle.

I heard casting mute would stop him using protes and and haste and surpportive magic. that true?

no, unfortunately, he still does it. it did for me, anyways. for that one part where hes talking and using those spells, they always go through. annoying...

there ar emany ways to kill him i was lvl 99 for all charactors killed him easy still hits you for big damage keep a whm or alot of potions on you plus the last boss after that is even harder

I used all dragoon, then Jump and he goes down pretty quick and if you are referring to fighting him on the big bridge then i dont think you can steal of him...

I spent COUNTLESS hours leveling up to some level a little above 90, I think, not 99 though. And I was fighting Iron Giants! Iron Giants!!! And it took me COUNTLESS of HOURS! Level 99... in the second world... in FF5??? NOOOOOOO!!! What a nightmare! *faints*

I consulted Aexoden, and he said it took about 10 game hours to level from about 75 to 99 with all bares with Berserk and white magic (for healing between). Said about 10 million experience was needed.

of course he had it going in turbo, so it was about 5 real hours.
and I think that was using the method starlight angel mentioned with iron giants in world 3.

Thanx for the help guys I beat him I was going to level up to around level 25 but I cudn't be arsed an I just battled him and found him surprisingly easy to beat, thanx again.
