I think I got it!!!

At the start of the game in the first reactor, just before you fight the scorpian guard, there is a valve/vault thing. Above it is steam/water vapour (white which moves), and before it is the restore materia(green materia). You don't actually find out what this valve does, but the characters and shinra do, they use it to blow it up, therefore it must have some importance if it was used to blow up the whole of the reactor. You wouldn't exactly blow up the side of the reactor if it had no source to carry the explosion on would it? I think the face few would be proud of is the fact it's used to help give people electricity as well as help destroy the planet. Only some people like mako reactors, the majority don't.

Can I just say, aparantly, by an anonymous source I apparently was helped privately with the answer to this riddle. I would just like to say, yes I did question LN outside of the thread to get instant answers, BUT everything and only anything I learned from him I posted on here. All he told me is that the White moves, it can be found at only one point in the game, and that you didn't go fast enough to miss it. That was ALL the hints I got and that was through interrogation. If you look up about 9 posts you'll see that I posted those hints. So it's not like I kept it all to myself.

Of course there is a connection between a chocobo and Kotr, without a golden chocobo you cant get Kotr.

This reminds me of Dyne's gun arm. Although he's clearly animate, his gun arm is mechanical. Presumably it has a name, like Barrets' many gun arms. An important part of the plot is when Dyne goes on a rampage in Gold Saucer, and everyone suspects Barret. He has given up the life he had in Corel, including (unwittingly) his daughter Marlene.

It is very close to a golden lamp but does not actually touch it.

It looks vaguely like a washing machine or something, but upon closer examination, the cup is evident on top of its platform.

Now, by timing I mean relativity. Depending on where you are in the game, you may have seen the answer once, or twice. Second time is beside an unknown of scarlet colour.

I feel that this might actually refer to the hapless Shinra soldiers [Submarine Crew] defending the submarine in the Underwater Reactor. They had previously been encountered during the initial visit to Junon, preparing for the parade. This would satisfy the time/relativity requirement. Whether or not they survive depends on whether one chooses to fight them or take them hostage--"ego (or) life." The scarlet unknown could refer either to the red-garbed commander or the similarly hued submarine carrying the Huge Materia.

the temple of the ancients. the monsters there are stronger than anything found so far, the little guys hide in the highest rooms. "time" and "puzzling" probably referring to the clock puzzle, with certain doors leading you back to where you first started.

Born in a fallen eden - Could mean a lot of things. We just know that the NPC was born assumably in a state or place which was once great, but "fallen" may refer to the fact that it's not what it used to be.

raised on spite - It's assumed that the NPC was raised in a life of seeing others suffer maliciously.

helping those similar - Perhaps the NPC lived a life of only trusting people that he was familiar with, or people that are like him in certain ways.

with actions, no words - Pretty self-explanitory. It doesn't necessarily mean that the NPC doesn't talk, but it means he helps those who are similar to him by acting. Therefore, words are insignificant in his or her case.

"Born in a fallen eden" has me stumped the most, because of its possible meanings.


BTW, I have no guess, I was just analyzing.

Helping those similar - "Similar" is an odd term for this, but let's just say Reeve is helping those who think like him. Reeve knows what Shinra has been doing is wrong, so he wants to help Cloud and Co. as they think the same way as him.

With actions, no words - Reeve controls Cait Sith, and in various cases, has Cait Sith do the dirty work. He betrays Shinra and acts to help Cloud and Co., instead of telling them where they can go and what they can do.

Raised on spite, - maybe...raised to hate? Sephy, again. The Shinra? Yuffie?
Helping those similar, - I'll look at Yuffie - she helps the crew, who share the trait of being unaccepted by Shinra, roving the world.
With actions, no words - Helps by joining. Fights alongside.

I was just looking through the game script, and happened to see this.

"TV Producer: Hmm… Better send that soldier something."

And just assuming he is from Junon, which could be thought of as a fallen eden seeing as it isnt what it once was because Shin-ra built that thing on top of it. (Maybe spiteful because of it?)

When Cloud is dressed as a soldier he would appear to be "similar" to the other soldiers and the producer. He never actually talks to you but gives you items.

So my guess is "TV Procucer."

a plain old shinra soldier

mainly thanks to holy mackerals reasoning and how you said it was sooo close!

the soldiers have jenova cells injected into them (fallen eden?),
making them want to kill kinda (raised on spite, includes the cells), they're like an army (helping those similar)
and they're just a regular like grunt type enemy, so they dont talk they only like shoot you (with actions, no words)

CORRECT!!! the answer is priscilla. now i'll post what each line meant

born in a fallen eden --> "my parents told me this beach used to be beautiful when they were kids"
raised on spite --> "i was raised on that story and hated the shinra bercause of it"
helping those similar --> here is the part of bringing something from this world. the scientific name for a water-bound creatue, such as a dolphin for example, is a piscine (pronounced "pis-keen"), which looks similar to priscilla
with actions, no words --> tries to help mr. dolphin by running to help him and has no words afterwards because she isn't breathing

i know you'll find this hard to believe but before i said the tv producer, i was actually thinking priscilla with the 'helping' being the giving of the shiva materia. This was obviously after realising the fallen eden was junon.
