Blitz and Power Generators!

Can anyone confirm power generators are actually muggable from Blitzes? I've been trying for ages with Rare item and 2x Luck +50% junctioned and I've still not found one! I found another page saying that they weren't muggable, and you'd never get one if you had Mug junctioned.

Has anyone ever managed to steal one from blitzes?

Yeah thats the best way. Its quite rare for them to drop power generators. It took me an age.

Argh! I hate blitzes! This damn power generator still won't drop!
Am I doing this right? I have unjunctioned Rare item and Mug. From what I read online I need to steal it from them... is there another mug-like ability?

Sorry this blitz beating has bashed my mind a bit. What I mean is, all the guides say I need to steal a power generator from the blitzes.. the only ability I appear to have that allows me to steal is mug. Does there happen to be another abilty that is like mug that I've missed somewhere? Only GF I don't have is Eden (want to get this later today)

no... theres no other abilility like that, but i read somewhere that the chance of getting a power generator is less than 5%, so either keep trying or wait until you get to the lunatic pandora at end of third disc where you can find one as a hidden item...(hope you triggered all the traps in the laguna 2nd scene)

After Fujin and Raijin run inside follow them and head up the stairs,
making sure to talk to your old buddies Biggs and Wedge before heading
inside. Follow the walkway heading left, then head to the right and
you'll notice at the bottom of the screen some stairs that lead down.
The enemies you will run into in these areas may look threatening but
they are very low level monsters and are easily taken care of. Note that
the Behemoths enemies can be mugged for a Barrier which teachs Quistis
Mighty Guard. Take the stairs and then the ladder that leads down, this
is the area Laguna went through during the forest dream scenario. At the
bottom of the ladder hit the confuse draw point and head to the right
into the tunnel to pick up a LuvLuvG Items, then proceed to the left. In
the area with the panels search all three of them for a Power Generator

Thanx guys.. I went and refined the damn generator for the Pulse Ammo! Didn't think it'd be so hard to get a new one! So do I stick with Mug? Or will it also drop as normal loot, because I only seem to get these dynamo stones!

Thanx Unknowns, I wish I had come here before! Unfortunately it's the Gen I need for Quistis last blue magic (trying to get 100% of the game done). Well I'll go back to blitz bashing and hopefully get somewhere. Thanx again everyone.

All I know is that people say "Don't equip rare item!"

and if you mug, you don't get an item anyways, so the point would be moot.

Don't equip rare item.
Do mug them.
Power Generators are never dropped. The only way to get one from a Blitz is to Mug it when it is at a high level (30+, use Tonberry's Lv Up if necessary) without Rare Item equipped.

If you do equip Rare Item and attempt to Mug you'll be reducing your chances of getting a Power Generator to 0%.

Finally got one - thanks for all the help.

This was my template:

Squall, Zell and Rinoa all at 100

Squall and Rinoa have "mug" and "+50% Luck" junctioned.

Rare item is NOT junctioned.
