limit breaks

played ff7 all the way through once, but that was 5 years ago and i dont remember jack, cept the story, anywho...

how do i unlock the limit breaks?

i think it was like killing enough enemies with the character but just wanted to b sure

There's different ways depending on the limit break you wanna get. Some you can get by using others over and over. Which one are you looking for?

To move up a level takes using the limit breaks a lot (fury helps, use hypers) and to get something within a level you have to kill a bunch of enemies, I think 80. I might be mixing this up but it's the basic idea.

part of something from gamefaqs, now im just wondering if i have to just kill that many enemies with the character after unlocking that limit break or kill that many with the limit break

you can do that with the rest, but you can only get each character's last limit breaks with a special side quest thing

but you can only learn these AFTER you have learnt every other limit break for the specific character, in Vincent's case that's not too hard but for everyone else...well have fun!

just remember that you can only get Tifa's and Vincent's final limit when you have cloud in your party....

u only need to kill them, not kill them with a limit. it should be noted however that the character who's limit ur trying to learn must land the killing blow. its usually around 70 or 80 kills to learn the 1st in every level, and u must use the first in every level around 7 or 8 times to get the 2nd in that level

In the case of getting Clouds Limit Break

it goes in the order of...
using the limit break you already start off with have 8 times for 1.2
kill 80 enemies for 2.0
use 2.0 limit break 8 or so times for 2.1
kill another 80 enemies for 2.2
and so on till you get limit break 3.2

Also, use can use it the certain Limite Break 8 times in one battle and it still levels up.

NOTE: Cloud has to kill the enemy
not injure it

clouds kill count is MUCH higher, its 115 kills for lv2 n 195 for lv3! ebryone else is around 70 or 80 tho
