View Full Version : I've Lost My Reasons To Stay You Tart Moderators!

Firstly Iri leaves and takes away my enjoyable opportunities to mock false modesty, then Nod leaves and kills my hairey man taunting, NOW No more EotW to take away my ability to release!

The only fora I regularly used....

You want rid of me don't you.

PS: If you are thinking of closing this or deleting please note I rarely start new threads, Don't piss on my parade.

Don't worry. EotW will return just as soon as we piss enough people off with politcal topics.

If I remember correctly, EotW was created as a place to discuss the September 11th events, not to argue, whine and moan ceaslessly about how other people's opinions and political beliefs are wrong.

EoEo is just as bad anyway, if a little more emo.

I'd ban someone for posting that image in EoEO too.

Announcing you want to leave an online message board is pretty lame. Just leave. If you're popular enough you might become a legend eventually. You can then proceed to reregister on a different version of the board, running a different forum software four years from now and be an oldbie and talk about the vB days.

11-04-2005, 06:43 PM
This one time BoB said I had a god complex and so I wanted to leave forever because I am god and I do not have to put up with that kind of abuse and it really hurt my feelings and I wrote angsty whining poetry about it and everything, but then I remembered that no-one has a bigger god complex or ego than BoB, and so therefore he was complimenting me.

That's not really a staff decision, and mostly a completely untrue story, but y'know. :)

I don't understand why people associate me with that. I never once made a big deal about leaving forever. The one time I maybe had a valid excuse to - when several other people did so after the April Fools joke - I just laughed and stayed.

I'm one of the people most against "leaving forever." I've left before - often times without any sort of announcement - just because I was bored with the place and didn't feel like coming back for a while. But leaving forever is overly dramatic and takes effort. Maybe I'll one day stop being entertained by this place, in which case I would just leave.

Um...yeah. I agree with Yams and Shlup.

eotw will be back. don't worry. it was created because noone liked eoeo being filled with political stuff. so now they've got rid of it we can just dump all the political stuff back in there. then they'll get annoyed and give us it back. you'll see. it will be back before the end of the year. people just need to post more politcal stuff in eoeo.

just now it's dead for politics. people seem to have been scared by this new move. it means nothing. the rules were the same in the two fora. what was "uncontrollable" in eotw will be the same in eoeo. it will just be mushed together with sappy girl problem threads.

no need to fret. just make a few politics threads and it'll be back. right now i'll make one. you better all join in.

by doing what? everyone knows why that forum was created. to remove it to me seems to be cutting their nose off to spite their face. it will be unworkable. all that will happen is that all the threads that would have went into a seperate forum designed for them they will now go into a forum where alot of people don't want them. it will be cluttered. and it will just draw pure eotw users like me into eoeo and noone wants that.

and people may blame me for all this. but lets not forget that i was only banned for a short time from that forum. not for inciting anything, flaming, spamming or anything like that. it was for posting an opinion that was out of place in a thread. which frankly i disagree with as we should never have purely pro or negative threads in the first place. but that is another argument.

the fact is that that forum was closed not just because of me. because as far as i and obviously the moderators were concerned i was within the rules. if any different was thought then i would be banned not the forum.

but this isn't going to stop the kind of arguments and discussions that went on before. it's moving a problem not getting rid of it. and that is the problem. and that's why it won't work.

Lindy

No, as I'd posted earlier (which you would have seen if you actually read threads instead of skimming them) it was created because of the September the 11th events which brought up a mass of political threads in General Chat and EoEO.

The only way it'd be brought back would be from a disaster of a similar life-changing magnitude, so by wanting it back you're actively wishing such a disaster on the human race.

I'd ask you how you can live with yourself over that, but you've already pretty much shown how inhuman and psychopathic you are.
