There was this one tune in the beginning of the game. Somewhere in the towns of Altea and Gatea. I swear I heard some part of it being played on a guitar. Acoustic, of course. I found it rather catchy though. Anyone know what Im reffering to??

It might be called "Town", funnily enough :p They sure have creative track names for these early FFs :p

Yeah it was "Town" I'm listening to it off my GBA. very melodic (is that even a word, cause I have heard people use it but I dont know for sure)

i think the word is "melodious". not sure. but yea that tune is catchy.

"Melodic" is a word. It refers to music that functions to present and accent a certain melody or tune. Generally, if you can hum along with a piece of music, it's melodic. An example of not-so-melodic music would be the first few bars of Debussy's "La cathedrale engloutie," or within the Final Fantasy series, the opening bars of The Prelude (just the harp).
