anyone know what the name of the song was that played throughout the LoTR movies?

There are various songs played throughout the LoTR movies ... however, the "official themes" are listed below:

1) "May It Be" - Enya.
2) "Gollum's Song" - Emiliana Torrini.
3) "Into The West" - Annie Lennox.

I know what song you are talking aboute, but I don't know it's name.

Check the official soundtrack, wich I'm sure that if you google it it will be easy to find.

That's because Gandalf coming with reinforcements to Helm's Deep happened in The Two Towers, not Fellowship of the Ring. The song you're looking for is Forth Eorlingas.
