I've gotta say, it's an interesting move. Surely, this stuff can't be any worse than dreck like Beetle Bailey or The Born Loser.

Discuss.

Awesome. Though I can't say I'd read any more of the paper than the comics (which is how it is now). But I don't think it'd be a bad change.

They will probably add ty ones that no one wants to read anyways. Watch out for the Manga version of Brenda Starr and Cathy.

*shrugs* Syndicated newspaper comics have been going downhill for ages, while web-based non-syndicated comics are thriving. This is just another ploy by syndicates to stay in a game that they are already losing.

However, Van von Hunter is a great comic, that I read frequently. So, at least they are making decent choices in which mangas they are choosing. Though, I should note that it's made in the US. Manga-style, but not really manga.

Syndicated newspapers haven't really gone downhill so much as they haven't evolved since 1930.

I'm all for it, as long as they're good. I enjoy anything that's good.

Actually, no, I don't care, because I don't read the newspaper.

Interesting. I don't see them adding any of the ones that I like reading-the darker, more mature kinda stuff, but I'll probably check it out anyways. Although if crap like this Peach Fuzz thing is going in, no way man.

We'll see.

Which is the other problem.. Neither does anyone else. Very few people get newspapers anymore, as it's all online. Some still do, but not anyone that would care about them adding manga comics.
