Nothing like this has ever been shown off on here, so thought id be the first.

I was gonna make a basic DVD of FFAC for a mate because hes hasnt seen it and has not got a PC, then i thought id go all out and make it look good and make features for it aswell.

Just wanted to see what people thought of my DVD menu. The DVD is not finshed yet though, as you will be able to tell when watching it. Its a video menu so thats why the file size is 15mb.

Sorry, my Win. Media Player isn't updated enough and needs a Codec thingy. Sadly, I have a restricted user profile on my computer and can't install the update. :cry:

However, I did get to hear the sound and I liked it. Sorry I couldn't watch the whole thing. :(

Thanks ffxfreak, glad you like it.

Theres more features to be added, plus the DVD the menu will loop, but instead of playing right from the begging, it will loop back to the when the music plays and the menus appear.

Xaven, ive put a WMV version up now, so you can watch with no trouble.

Open it when its finished downloading and it will play.

The menu buttons dont work or nothing like that, just showing the menu off.

None of these are the real versions, the mpeg i got of it is the proper version and nearly 100mb, no one would wanna download it with a file size that big.

If anyone wants a copy of the DVD whens its finished ill be hosting it on my server and it will be hosted ready-made to burn straight onto DVD region free.

ive just changed the way the buttons transition onto the menu. Also, ive decided to put chapters in aswell.

Made more progress on the DVD.

All the works ive done so far. Ive setup the "setup" menu, but it hasnt been designed yet, so its not for show yet

Except the pictures of the AC album tracks, the menu are animated, before the the menu links become active.

"JENOVA AC VERSION" (my AC short version) play during the chapters menu.
"The Promise Land" plays on the Main Menu.
"Tatakau Mono Tachi" play during the "Special Features" menu.
"FFVII Main Theme [Piano Version]" plays on the menu of the first page "Music Od Advent Children" Menu
"Aeris Theme [Orchestra Version]" plays on the second page.

I'll be uploading Low Quality avi versions of the menu and they'll be quick and easy to download, so you can see for yourself.

Also forgot to mention, there will be an option for Surround sound or just stereo and will have a option to have english subs on or off.

EDIT: Where it normally says "DVD size", it hasnt shown up for how much DVD space ive used up so far, but im going for a 8.5GB DVD size.

I know your gonna think WTF! but i cant go for the normal 4.7GB size, all the stuff wont compress that small. The movie is over 5GB itself. Although anyone who has a internet connection over 1mb, will have to do about a day or so of downloading it. It takes me about 3 and a half hrs to download 1GB, so it wont take that long.

Very nice work. I did something quite similar, unfortunetly, the actual movie is a lower quality. Also, I don't have the server space to upload my work.

Once again, very good work. I especially like the setup menu! ^^

Would love to download the whole thing!

BTW, is it in japanese with an english subtitle option or a japanese subtitle option?

Thanks, the prologue of the stories is going to take far too long and space, so im changing it to the 25 minute original of AC.

It's in Japanese and it's only going to have English optional, same with Last order. but you can turn the subtitle for both videos on both menus, so if you turn them on for the movie you turn them on the the OVA, but if you want them off it saves going all the way back if your planning to watch Last Order.

When the English dub is released, ill put both England and Japanese audio.

Deleted scenes only reach over 2 mins long and there about 7 of them, with no sound effects and voices only.

25mins is in 2 versions, 5.1 surround sound and stereo pro logic.

dunno, maybe because the voices are recorded before the sound effects but got cut from the movie before they did the sound effects. The only sound on them is the voices.
