free ipods?

I was checking out these sites that claim you can get a free ipod after signing up and referring 5 people, and it seems too good to be true. Does anyone know if these sites have any credibility, or should I run while I have the chance?

they did a report about a site exactly like that on the news where i live a few months ago, like u sign up and 5 others do too, u need them to sign up with a credit card then call and cancel right away so they dont get charged, then they will send u an ipod, not sure if its the same site, but sry if its not and good luck if it is
