Good choices in 80's teen movies, but you forgot Fast Times at Ridgemont High

As for other things, might I suggest Legend? Willow. The Princess Bride (Yay fantasy movies)

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure?
Anything with John Candy :/ But I suggest Uncle Buck for starters (along with of course Space Balls, but that's already given)
I'd also suggest stuff like Ninja Turtles and maybe Howard the Duck, but I think they might be early 90's Oh well

True, but he hit pubity by then, oh god, what am I saying, Corey is great in everything, shame he turned all junkie and all .....
And Kubricks films were classic, Full Metal Jacket is by far the best war movie ever, and had a fucking awesome beginning. And The Shining was the icing on Stanleys crown ......

When Arnold runs for office again, he should just play Commando on a big screen and walk off the stage.

Needless to say, everyone will vote for him.

Scarface is my favorite 80s movie man. I keep watching it over and over and over. It reminds me of GTA Vice City.
