i kno theres probably a really simple answer to this, and im probably a bit lazy 2 lol im on disc 2 and im at the missile base and im in the room with the save point and theres 2 doors and the both say theyr looked how do you open them or is there another way in?

There's a panel just beside the door on the left, you should be able to see it. Step in front of it and press 'X', and your characters should solve the problem for you.

its a pain to get to sometimes...they just keep going to the door instead.

You really should do that. I've beat the game numerous times and feel real dumb when I get to a part that seems easy enough and then I forget how to do it and have to rely on questioning other ppl that havent been playing as long as i have.
